Hi Boris. Your voice is so soothing and easy to listen to. My desire is to feel peace-of-mind in my relationships with my five adult siblings. We pretty much had no relationship in our youth. Now, in our senior years, we want to be closer, but it's hard for me. They are perfectly nice people, but I still feel anxious in their company like I do with strangers. I just want to relax in their company and feel peace. I am struggling with believing "Level 1," that I have a choice.

Navigating our inner world with skill, faith, and awareness of the Truth is the very essence of the path. Persist in recognizing the illusion and set it apart from the Truth. Anxiety speaks to the presence of a belief such as "I am in control and I need to figure out how to do it right," when in truth, the separate self is never in control because it exists only as an imagined identity. Here is a quote from the course that comes to mind here: Pain is a wrong perspective... There is nothing in the world which has the power to make you ill or sad, or weak or frail. But it is you who have the power to dominate all things you see by merely recognizing what you are. As you perceive the harmlessness in them, they will accept your holy will as theirs.
