Haley left such an impact on this season, if not, this whole show. She is a true underdog. She started off as the bottom 3 of the top 13 and earned her way to the TOP 3 of the top 13. No one like her has ever been on Idol. Her face is so unique and special. We can find another Lauren. We can find another Scotty. But finding another Haley is one in a million.

Haley has this very unique quality to either take a song that seemed somewhat unremarkable before or to suddenly make an old classic suddenly come alive and modern. You completely forget what the old song was like, as hers now becomes the new standard. Everything she sings becomes gold. She is not merely a singer, but a true artist . She is probably the most talented modern singer of this decade. If promoted correctly she will be number one!

For me, the best part of this performance was Haley’s Dad on the guitar, and the riffs. Not sure how she managed to swing getting her Dad to play on stage with her, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but he was really good!!

If you notice the moment when she trips is when she looks up at her dad as she is ad-libbing the lyric "DADDY you will be mine" and I believe the glance for appreciation from her dad is what made her trip... not the pointy heel of the shoe.

I think this was an amazing performance of a song that 99% off all the Idol contestants there ever were wouldn't even attempt. And, I found it nauseating that any Idol contestant this year who showed any edginess or creativity was voted off. And what were we left with? Two squeaky-clean teenagers singing country. Thanks, but no thanks. All I can do is watch this video and shake my head in disbelief that she wasn't in the final. Great job Hailey!

This is defintely the best transfer of this amazing performance of this awesome song. Even though she fell , she recovered like a pro. She is just born to perform. She is so good live. Just looked at the videos of the show the top 4 did at Atlanta for Microsoft. Haley sounded just as good live, while Scotty was downright awful and off key in all his songs. It was actually painful to the ears. Go figures!
