Laurens voice is so beautiful. And so is she. People who think Lauren's sweetness is just an act, it's not. I met her on the idol tour, she took some fans out to lunch then helped me (diehard haley fan) meet Haley. Lauren is a very genuine person. Please dont make assumptions about her.

Still, it's good to hear something personal and positive about Lauren in particular as there were some trolls posting extremely nasty things about her, worse even than those about Haley.. A lot of Haley fans didn't help,were rubbishing Lauren's undoubted talent because they were annoyed that she beat Haley. I thought Haley clearly showed the greatest talent. All the really big moments were hers, and in a variety of genres, and on merit she should definitely have won. However, it doesna blind me to the ability of Lauren and Scotty, even if I think it's rather limited compared to Haley's talents . I always thought Lauren seemed like a nice lassie. She has said how helpful and supportive Haley'd been, and also came out in an interview and said how bad it made her feel seeing Haley being given such unfair, negative critiques. It's nice to hear from someone like yourself who has come in contact with her personally, and found her nice away from any cameras.

There’s no way she’s 15. I know that’s the official line. But cmon. Look at her… phenomenal voice, I’m a huge fan of hers, but there is no way she’s 15 here like they said. No way. Anyone with a 15 year old daughter will agree. She’s 19-22 if I had to guess.

Every time that I hear the version that The Band Perry does of this song I can't help but recall how much better Lauren did with it ... she's got a very nice voice, I was a James and Haley fan during the show but I have to admit that Lauren did this song justice!

@CarolinaQueen518 I saw some of them.. Bennie and the Jets is my favorite song she sang the whole season. Shes a good singer, but the only thing was during the show she was not consistent. She is really pretty! I love some of her outfits! I also love Lauren cowgirl boots! :)

Wasnt she in the bottom three a lot too... i mean Lauren was in the bottom three a couple times so im not saying shes perfect... I like them both but from like the top 5 i knew that Scotty was going to win because everyone loved him! Exactly! I hate it when the pre-teen girls do that! The only thing is, you want someone young to win because that is what an idol is... i would rather have Lauren or Haley win because i know they will probably do better in the end than Scotty. I was upset when Lauren lost not because she was my favorite, but because i wanted a girl to win this year...i wan kinda hoping for a girl finale... :)

@bze2nlz2 I don't get this whole "smug attitude" story the Haley haters run with. OK, she talked back to the judges when she didn't understand/agree, but she wasn't rude or disrespectful. If she's got a bad attitude then why did Casey- a cool cat and a free spirit- serenade her to say goodbye? Was the man who kissed Jennifer Lopez just blinded by Haley's good looks?
