If I throw a grenade at a puppet that has not seen me to kill it and I hide and it blows up meters away and it spawns a horde because it's loud will the horde be attracted to the area where the grenade went off or to me where I threw it even if no puppet saw me?

They come to the sound not to you. Get away from the sound and you will be fine

Playing on new dawn having a odd issue all puppets seem to gone ? I have not seen any in town or woods ! spent like 3 hours just stayed building my base but went into town 2 times not even one puppet or in woods in fast have not seen anything no wolf bear and they spawn near my base !

I think that since the new hotfix luths server settings might have a negative effect on puppetspawn. They do still spawn sometimes inside towns.
