One of the most poignant lines in the song is when Jimin said even the scars from your mistakes are part of your own constellation is beautiful. As someone with a sibling who was a cutter, that hits especially close to home and I think a lot of ARMY can understand it too. It's okay not to be perfect but it's hard to look at ourselves and see nothing except love but I'm happy they're with us along that journey.

Hobi also says "scars" not "stars" in Daydream and some people think it's a mistranslation, but I think he said it on purpose - linking it to this song (whichever song came first). I think it's really beautiful how BTS want us to know that our inner scars or outer ones can still be part of us and we can still be beautiful. Just like you said, I have a close friend who used to cut and I hope they know we still love them - that we can still love ourselves!

Moreover the imagery and metaphor of stars, galaxy, heavenly bodies, constellations, and the universe come up frequently in BTS lyrics: DNA, Mikrokosmos, Serendipity, Magic Shop, Moon, 134340 (Pluto)... We know one of BTS' prolific songwriter RM especially loves to gaze up at the sky. 💜

This is one of my all time favourite BTS songs. It was the closing for the love yourself tour and it made the end of the show so emotional but in a feel good way, rather than a post concert depression way (although that comes eventually regardless). Not only is it sonically beautiful but the message is so important and so poetically written. I'm glad you love this song as well. I think its a bit of an underrated song.

Falling for BTS wasnt a fall it was more like walking into a warm welcoming home. Also like Hobi once said ‘when you start stanning BTS you wont regret it’ and i havent at all. This song is so beautiful and has a strong beautiful and powerful message in the lyrics and that is to love yourself. BTS have taught me to love myself more and more, little by little each and everyday (which i still find hard ever since 2014) and if it wasnt for BTS teaching me this and for always being by my side i wouldnt be the person i am today pr even be here today.
