Dude... a 500 hp manual M3? I don't want to sound like an old man but i would keep it stock if it where mine. Perhaps a louder intake to bring up some intake notes but.. is more power really necessary? 500hp is already more than anyone can put in public roads anyways. This car is awesome as is!!!

I agree. Never understood why people do it on cars like this, especially with brand new ones. I mean, maybe you get bored of 500 hp during years of use but maaan he doesn't even hit 1000 km

@@stefano2626 You see, i'm a Lotus/Miata kind of guy.. i don't believe that huge power equals huge fun. Think of things in this way: if a car is boring with 500hp, something must be very wrong with it, 150 extra horses ain't changing the nature of the design, it's just going to press you against the seat harder, but that's it. I think power is over rated but that's just me. I remember the way i used to have such a blast everyday back when i had an N/A Clio... i't was just the way i was connected with the physics of it. Still miss it. I would only consider tunning an M3 like this if the car already rings my bells stock.

@@Lucas-ck1po I can understand why you need more power in these new car's. Don't get me wrong, 500hp is enough. But the car feels so safe managing the power, you want more. These engine's can handle much more without even being pushed to any sort of limit. It make's the driving experience a bit tricky and challenging for an experienced driver.

Great car. Yes that gearing does look to be quite short, 85km/ h at 2000rpm in 6th gear is the same as 5th gear in normal BMW, so it looks like about a gear shorter than usual.

Wheel horse power??? The only figure that matters on a dyno run is the power to the wheels. The 503bhp at the flywheel is a pure estimate from the dyno machine and is worthless.

For this kind of power is really a low boost, the previous generation M3/M4 Competition do 1.5 bar and the Giulia Quadrifoglio do 1.4 bar to 503hp and 600Nm of torque! Good luck with the machine Max! 😁

Let me tell you a little story about dyno rolls. I put my BMW on 3 different dynos with 3 different tuners. The results varied almost 35 HP between the lowest and highest result. It's just not exact and depends a lot on the settings of the roll.

We zal verbaasd zijn hoe snel je gewent raakt aan 500 pk als je dagelijks ermee rijdt. Ikzelf heb en mb C63S, deed stock 520pk op de dyno, na ongeveer 3 maanden al laten chippen naar 610 pk 🤪. Geen seconden spijt van gehad. Dat gezegd, de MB heeft dan wel een bak die 1.000nm aankan... Ps die kleur staat de M3 echt fantastisch!
