same but my dad is 43 and talks about dying its just reminds me of dying in the future. I don't like it because it's scary. I don't want him to die because her the one I really love in my family but I do love my whole family (crying) I just don't want him to say that. I always tell him her too young but never works I'll try telling him what I have in mind if he says it again. and please keep this in your mind that we have the same problems and everybody has the same problems only if they do. The little girl in the background killed me inside.. my dad is still alive, I couldn't imagine losing him. This is to everyone who lost their father: He's watching over you, he's protecting you, he smiles at you just seeing your beautiful/handsome face, he likes knowing that you think of him, he's proud of you, he would give the world to you in a heartbeat, he'd do everything to protect you from the dangers in the world... he'd give the whole universe to see you again,to say goodbye, to say "I love you." One last time. You will always be in his heart and soal. I'm sure he thinks you're a brave soldier for living life and not letting him stop you from being the best you can be. "It hurts a lot, I understand." He'd say... "You just gotta smile and rememeber... I'm here to protect you. I'll always remember you and love you." Your father loves you very much. He won't give up on you, just remember him and talk about him so he'll always be here. Alive or not, his soal is still here,with you. If your father is still alive: love him like he's dying, spend time with him like you only have 1 minuet left to live. Hug him every chance you get. And just remember... dead or alive, he loves you with all his heart.

This made me cry so hard. My dad died about a year ago a few days before my birthday. My mom and him had been divorced for a couple years then and back then I hadn't seen him since. One day when I was at a lake with my best friend I saw him and we reunited I was so happy to see him. I met his new girlfriend and her 3 kids we got along really well. I found out he lived near us so he usually came to my house 1-2 times a week and we would go somewhere fun either just the two of us or all of us together. It was about to be summer and he didn't come to my house anymore and I texted him and asked why he didn't and he said he moved to Ohio I was so mad and asked why he didnt tell me. No response. The next day he told me maybe in the summer he'll fly out and come and see me...never happened. It was the beginning of the school year we didn't really talk anymore. My dad had heart problems and had diabetes. And in September my mom called me into the living room and said "Sweetie daddy had a heart attack." at this point I had high panic in my voice and said "What is he OK he's better right?" she looked down couldn't loom me in the eye and said "No sweetie he didn't make it." Tears started rushing down my face sobbing my mom saw me and started crying too we hugged she got me some pictures of him for memory. He was cremated and I got some of his ashes and his favorite pair of shorts.I think of him every day. And I went through this and had just turned 10 I'm 11 now. R.I.P Daddy😢

my mom and dad got into a small fight and my dad left to go to a friends house as he was pissed. ( around 10:00) I felt something off and them like someone was waking into my room, so I looked up and no one was there. I went under my covers (I just turned 10 when this happened) and I knew the thing was standing over me. 10:30 I heard cops and people and seen lights. (7:00 next day) my moms walks into my room almost crying. I was starting to get worried "mom ain't you working today?" I asked her. She walked over by the side of my bed "mommys not going to work today" she said "why?" I asked. My mom sat down on my bed and I popped up, "what is wrong mommy" I asked in fear. "where's daddy" I asked, a few tears fell from her eyes "daddy's been in a car accident..." she said. A tear rolled down my face "he's alright like last time right?" ((he like drove into the woods before when he couldn't turn the wheel, he fell into one of them awake comas) my mom started to cry "mommy" I said and more tears rolled down my face. "no" my mom said. "what, what does that mean" I asked and stared into her eyes. "____, he's dead" I stopped, fell back and screamed at the top of my lungs "NOOOOOOOOO" I sat there "he can't be" I said staring at the wall. I started to cry so much.... my dog (his bestie) and our cat took it real hard too... My dog wouldn't leave his side at the wake and my cat keeps trying to lay on his chest. my life as been going down hill ever since...

Oh my god!! You poor soul! I cried so much when I watched this video. I just hope you read this comment and know that your dad is looking over you, loving you more then you love him. He is so so proud of you and loves watching you grow up. But he hates seeing you and your mum cry. He doesn't want you to cry over him but remember him in such a significant way that you won't cry but just love him even more. Your dad also thinks the same of your mum. He is watching over you, laughing at your silly mistakes, tearing up when you get hurt and loving you more then humanly possible. Remember him forever. Sometimes you really need to look twice at what you have and appreciate it and sometimes you think that you don't have whats wanted but you actually do. For example my father gets annoying sometimes but just by,remembering the days he worked in the desert for my brother along time ago makes me go and hug him no matter what 'I LOVE MY DADY, AND I WILL NEVER LIVE HIM EVER!' Thank you Dady for making my life better

Don't you worry about anything just remember that he's in a better place watching over you your mom and your family. He risked his life to save yours and America. U a lucky child to have a dad like that not all children has a dad like yours.U did an awesome job on this video and u can believe that. I wish my dad was like yours but mines not and other people's dad either but we always have our mom so don't forget about your dad and mom.Keep up the good work sweetie

Same, but no one will take me in. Sad life. Living at my local library. Super smart now. Read a lot of books. I also have a baby boy named Tyler on the way. It would suck if it wasn't a boy. I like boys *wink*

I-I have never cried on ever single sad story but, this one broke my heart. Im so, so very sorry for your dad but, I know he is right next to you waiting by your side ever step you take since is death. I know you'll see him when you revenge his death and cry tears of joy in his arms. I hope you read this because i made this with my tears and love for your daddy. I may not know you or you family but, remember......he is in the best place in the world.

I haven't seen my dad for a long time he's still alive but my parents are divorced when I think about him to much I cry myself to sleep. but I'm very sad for you.
