I think the Washington State anthropologist our narrator referred to was the late Grover Krantz. Jeff Meldrum has succeeded him as the main academic involved with the Sasquatch field research...

New subscriber. Interesting, I too spent a lot of time in the Olympics during the 70-80’s. Bigfoot sightings were rare and easily dismissed. Today, sightings are very common. Are there more Hairy Man today? Or, is it social media? More people in the woods?

If sightings are now more common, then why don't we have more pictures? Almost everyone carries some kind of smart phone or camera. The same with all the Trail Camera's being set out. Now we have drones. I'm confused as to why there is so little actual evidence.

Good question. I use trail cams to keep them out of my backyard. The infrared keeps them away, is the theory. Until you actually see one, it’s difficult to accept they exist.

Brother I am writing this in my living room which is located approximately 4 miles from the Race St entrance to Hurricane Ridge. Now I would not ever imply that a good storyteller is being “dishonest” but based on my personal experiences locally I kinda have a funny feeling that you’ve had moments of unease in the Olympics and/or Cascades that you might be omitting? Anyhow thank you for another good one 👍🏼

You are part correct. I have been places where I sensed evil. Where my hair raise up on the back of my neck. But, never in the Olympic Mountains. The worse was on a trip to Elenore Lake in Mt. Rainier National Park. Another place was near Reynolds Creek in Idaho Owyhee Mountains. Was it Bigfoot? Don't know. But, I am pretty sure the attack was spiritual in nature. Question: How is the Mountain Goat population on Burnt Mountain? I spent a lot of time there photographing Goats. Winter and Summer. Also, my parents owned property on Morse Creek. I would sometimes fish for Brook Trout in PJ Lake. Tasty little buggers.
