Sidestep/walk left is the way to go. Which is the opposite of what you would normally do against kazumi. You just need to make a read instead of sidewalking randomly . If you stepwalk during the wr input it will just track you.

I think disconnect rating is attached to your save file which is stored locally. Maybe they are resetting their save file to avoid having their disconnects displayed on the matchmaking screen.
