Beautiful work! To me it looks more like a Western pattern than a Michigan. Michigans have a more rounded heel and toe.

Appreciate it. You could be right re: western vs. Michigan patterns. I've seen MI pattern axes with both rounded heels and sharper heels. This example was somewhere in between.
