Do they explain why the king doesn't combust much quicker when Eric and him go sunbathing? I get that they both had Sookie's blood and that preserves them some, but Russell is still 3 times as old as Eric. Considering how quickly Godric, at ''only'' 2000, went up in flames, even though Russell had some of Sookie's blood, shouldn't he still have burned up 3 times quicker than Eric? Then drag Eric back inside and that's it! No?..

I like Stephen, but the story was influenced about him and Anna Paquin off-screen romance, which is not fair. At some point, the story was just about them, season 5 was such a waste of time, 6 and 7 too. Eric was a more complex and powerful character, and had much more to offer, considering he is older, 1000 years old. The writers did him wrong, for the character and the audience as well. For me, the show stopped at season 4, they butchered Sookie and Eric after that, and made it like it never happened. Sookie was so abused by Bill, but she always chosed him, and never gave a real chance to Eric, who always had her back. It's not only about the romance, it's that the story didn't made any sense. Make Sookie and Alcide a couple - I didn't liked that. Rather she chosed Warlow, instead of coming back to Bill.

@JoyNoelle8H they changed alot of stuff and as i remember russelle isn't that bad of a vampire and he's actually kinda fair to her in the books for the most part. i think he actually like her........hahaha it seemed that all the men like her int he books like kalvin hahahah they changed him completely from the books. they changed alot but i don't hate that but i don't love it either some of the people that i like in the books are completely different than in the show but eric is still the same.
