At some point, I just couldn’t continue watching big little lies because it’s so disturbing yet good. The twisted love and abusive relationship are just too much to take down. @Sara-Stina Bergstedt Alexander Skarsgård was known in Sweden for people interested in movies and had had some roles before his Hollywood career, but to say he was "very famous" is a serious exaggeration. His dad though, very very famous. Alexander, not as much. Most people probably just knew him through his dad. He didn't even have any big roles in any big Swedish movies. He did a bunch of episodes in a low key soap opera in the late 90s called White Lies (Vita Lögner) and then a few forgettable films like Wings of Glass. He was mostly known as a pretty boy.

I *love* “The Legend of Tarzan”. ❤️ It’s a criminally underrated gem in my opinion - no other movie explores that future (all the other Tarzan movies and tv series either show the _origin story_ or start with Tarzan and Jane living in the jungle….nothing like that happens in the book either if I recall well), so we get a completely new side of Tarzan while the essence of the character is still being beautifully kept and shown. Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Christop Waltz and all the cast do an incredibly marvelous job….it really deserved to be watched. 💖

For everyone perplexed by his accent: as a Swede there is two ways to talk English. Either you try to imitate some sort of British accent which I would say is the easiest because it’s more pronouncing the consonants if you catch my drift. The other way is imitating the American accent and the result of that would often come across as fake but Alex has learned to talk “smoothly” and that’s why I think it sounds southern.

Generation Kill is by far one of the most underrated War genre Movies/Series ever made. For me personally, Its on the same level of Band of Brothers, The pacific, Saving Private Ryan, Black hawk down etc. Its so surprising how little people know of it.

I just love him. He's got a really good sense of humor, and it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes.

His role in Mute, War on Everyone, and Straw Dogs were spectacular! Surprised they didn't bring those up, especially because Mute came out in February of 2018 and this video came out in November 2018. Also, to me, Straw Dogs was a pretty 'iconic' role (being a remake and all).

The only thing I’ve ever seen Skarsgard in was Generation Kill as Brad Colbert. Without a doubt one of my favourite miniseries ever and Skarsgard was brilliant as the Iceman. GK has an amazing cast that deserves more love and attention

In every interview of his I've seen he always says the nicest things about his co-stars and a friend who worked on a set with him says he's super nice and courteous, polite to everyone and I imagine some of the scenes actors have to do is really rough.
