If you rub a candle up and down the zips the wax helps them run smooth and helps with the snagging. Trick we used on mountain bike gear 😊

Yup, used that for motorcycle gear and it works, or Vaseline, or a ChapStick. It helps to waterproof the zip too. Really whatever you have lying around that's petroleum based. So no ky. 😉

Guys those zips that stick try rubbing a Vaseline lip balm, bar of soap or candle on them it helps stop the sticking. Also the window fly screens. Get a cheap mozzie net cut it to size them get Jess to apply a velcro seem put another velcro on window edges with double sided tape and you have a perfect screen if your somewhere with bitting bugs that you can remove if required. Also just want to say I love your Chanel.

Hi Guys, Many thanks for passing on details of Direct Water Filters, as you said John is a mine of information and a great help!! ... just finished installing a carbon filter and UV system into our Eriba as a result .... we also run Surfshark on our Avtex Router (after using the Trueblue code) and it worked a treat while abroad ..... its been great watching the Landy, Sainsbury's van builds and now looking forward to the final Big Red build video! .... J&J please don’t forget to put retaining clips on those JG water fittings, ( like a plastic circlip) that fits in the little gap to stop you accidentally pushing the release sleeve , something I always do on our caravans as we’ve had leaks caused by sleeping bags etc pushing the sleeve and allowing the pipe to come out slightly, ( vibration also can do this) causes a right bloody mess saved by a few pence for the retaining clips , loving the build as always 🥰

That Knipex crimper is a good one. But Ideal do a feed through tool and feed through crimps. It makes it a bit easier when you are doing non standard crimping and ribbon cables. Also I think a Milwaukee M12 jacket would be a nice power tool for Jess!
