After working in a government job for 40 years I understand what you said about ambitious people. For some, nothing and nobody will stand in the way of their climb up the ladder of power. When something goes wrong they manage to shift the blame with lighting speed. The irony is the people who stick their necks out trying to make things work better often find themselves in trouble because they upstage their boss. People who do the least seem to cruise through because they aren't a threat to egos. I had a boss like Pam and everybody was happy to come work. Loved the podcast and all the war stories. Maybe leaving and starting anew career was a blessing in disguise.

I don’t know how you did 40 years, a decade was enough for me, I experienced everything you said, it’s not a healthy workplace for people with integrity at their core..

A regular show with you two in conversation would be brilliant! I love the intelligence, the information, the chemistry, the stories, the inside look, the authenticity, and the humor. Thank you.

Came across your first podcast with Pam, thoroughly enjoyed enjoying her in all three so far. I’m not sure what it is, the personal, expect, the fact that she proved herself so worthy in a male oriented profession or the realism that she brings to it. most enjoyable.

I have listened to alot of the pod casts and I have read all the books, but I think what has disappointed me is hearing you Gary state you don't belive in PTSD. When most poeple that have PTSD don't have it due to there roles but instead from how they were managed by management, and you yourself have gone though so many mishandled things.. 😢
