We only know the version this show is telling us. And this show tends to get loose with the truth with the little details, like saying she was a great singer when she clearly couldn't sing in the least bit. I'm not trying to put her down and I even feel kinda bad saying it, but it's the truth. In cases like this, that's all we need. The raw uncut to the gut real. Just facts. It's the little details that can make a world of difference in a case like this. There's no room for garnishing the truth cause it makes a juicier story. DNA and forensics would've easily caught the step mom if it was her. I doubt that woman is good enough to commit the perfect murder. In 2019, perfect murders are dam near impossible. Too many people here are convicting people over personality and they way they "feel" about the cast of characters. That's not justice, it's a mob mentality that poisons the legal system, it's integrity and reliability. Maybe she's just a cold cunted bitch. Step mom's have had that reputation since Cinderella.

I don't like assuming verdicts, "especially guilty ones" without studying the actual physical/biological evidence or viewing the "Bill of particulars" collected by law enforcement agencies. It's all about the preponderance of evidence. They obviously don't have enough evidence to prove who it was beyond a reasonable doubt. Too many people like to convict nowadays just cause of the way they feel about a person instead of following the evidence. Wherever it may lead. Too many people are convicting this dude cause of a version they heard on a T.V. show. That's exactly why the jury system is way too flawed and extremely unreliable. Court cases that involve juries hardly ever go by the evidentiary value of the case. Instead, the jury convicts based on which lawyer weaves a better story. Regardless if it's complete bs or not. That's why we've had some ridiculous and wrong verdicts in America. Casey Anthony, O.J Simpson, trayvon Martin, lillo brancatto and best of all, Jeffrey Epstein case. Those verdicts were all shameful versions of so called "justice". All cause of ignorant juries that ignored facts over feelings.

The killers thought nobody was home based on an individual who did yard maintainence at the duplex. It was his cousin and brother. He pointed out the house and thought nobody was home because usually covington and her neighbor went to a music festival that happened every year. The mom killed her. She has zero emotion about her daughter death.
@hdotl62865 жыл бұрын
That's what you're basing a murder conviction on? Why the fuck she has to show emotion or cry like a baby? Why? Cause it makes you feel better. This isn't about you tho. There's way too many reasons that she could look emotionless. Grief goes thru stages and everybody copes differently. Besides all that, this wasn't her actual daughter. They weren't related consanguaniously. She's a step mom. There's a reason stepmoms are called bitches by most stepkids. She didn't have to love Egypt, all she had to do was respect her. Maybe she's just happy deep inside cause they didn't get along that well. That doesn't mean she killed her.
@hdotl62865 жыл бұрын
@Vincent Cuttolo Are you sure? I could swear I heard step mom. I can be wrong and can admit when I am. Imma double check the video quick. I find it really troubling that soooo many of these people are convicting that lady over a "feeling" instead of the preponderance of evidence. It's scary to think these people can possibly be jurors that decide a person's fate and most of the citizenry aren't aware of "bench trials". Atleast at a bench trial it's easier to appeal the verdict and file pcra motions as well.
@BlessedToBeSaved3335 жыл бұрын

Why is this listed as unsolved. Her ex killed her and her mother defends him because he slept with her. Its disgusting how daughters in this world are treated. A grown woman should not be second to her mother. Everyone should have their own relationships not shared, smh. This case angers me and saddens.

I was in a horribly abusive relationship & i told no one, not cops, not family, no one.... I was so weak and embarrassed that I wasn't ready to leave & I didn't want my friends and family to make things harder.... I didn't call the cops because what, he'd go to jail for a night then come and beat me worse than he was already? Many women who are abused have no police reports to turn to for that reason. I was so abused and broken that i stayed until he kicked me, our 2yr old and our 7mth old out of the house while simultaneously moving in his new girlfriend and her son. He did me a favor and so did she.... years later, shes on drugs, lost her nursing license & they're divorced.... anyway, many women don't tell...sorry it took that long story to say those few words lol. I believe her mother was probably abused down the line and somehow sympathizes with abusers... i know it's sick but it does happen.... that or she's just a sick woman period.
@ember17945 жыл бұрын
I suspect the same thing - though I'm really sorry to say I didn't find the compassionate words for that kind of behavior when I wrote my comment - I believe siding with the abuser (quite unconsciously) is a kind of defense mechanism, self-preservation and (seeming) preservation of others/loved ones, as crazy as it sounds, I know the thing, but heck - it has to be broken/changed - people must realise what's really at stake and that there are other lives affected by this, too - thank you for telling your story, it is important for people to know how it feels from the abused one's standpoint and that things can be changed, if one is taking their point of view into account -

I'm from Michigan and I grew up in Kalamazoo and live in Detroit now. Ive never heard of this case before. I watch a lot of crime documentaries and this is the first time hearing of this. My suggestion is to get the word out more. More signs, billboards and flyers. Should be listed on Michigan's Crime Watchers tv. Very sad that she hasnt gotten justice yet. R.I.H. 🙏 I hope Egypt and her family get some closure soon.

Momma looks like a wanna Reba. I guess imitation is flattery eh. Although I agree that before accusations turn into charges that there should be some solid evidence, I cannot figure out what is off about “momma”, but something is off. For example, if there is illegal activity and questionable people in the duplex, what is momma’s evidence of that????? Also, I don’t even trust Curtis. Crocodile tears don’t phase me in cases like this.
