It might take Georgiadis a bit of time to get into the season. He is a big guy and young, two characteristics that make an ACL harder. Being big just puts more pressure through the knee and being young means he hasn't had to do a lot of recovery from injuries so the confidence in his body is not backed up by knowledge that comes with doing the re-hab multiple times. He might be able to mitigate the second problem, but not the first. If he kicks 40 goals then I think he will need to average near 3/game in the last half of the season.

I’m enjoying your off season content, kudos for keeping us fed with a bit of footy through the dry season. As a crusty, but proud old Lefty, if you’re looking for something to do could you cobble a team of Lefties together sometime. We, like our indigenous teammates, are over represented in the league so I’d be interested what sort of team you could come up with. I’m guessing it’d be awesome in advance. 😉
