Ok, so Powder (Jinx) and Vi are blood related, same parents, but they were psuedo adopted by the barkeeper, who also picked up a couple other orphans. They all consider themselves to be brothers and sisters/family, but Powder (Powder is Jinx's real name I think) and Vi are actually birth sisters.

someone probably said this already but I'll do it too: The young girl with blue hair is Powder but later becomes Jinx. The older girl with pink hair is Violet aka Vi, who is the non-biological sister of Jinx. The young boy with white hair is Ekko. The tall boy with spiky hair is Mylo and the other boy with googles is Claggor. Excluding Ekko, the group of four are friends and the show is kinda the backstory on how Powder became Jinx.
