Yeah I agree, it was almost as if it was written by an author. I'm sure everyone who undergoes something really traumatic remembers every single facet of it and then uses metaphors and similes when recollecting it. If it was a horror writer this is exactly the way I'd expect it to be written.

I listened to the testicle story with a grimace. I wanted to laugh at reactions, but I could feel a pit in the bottom of stomach stretching wider and wider with disgust. I tried to hold my testes in fear of them retracting themselves, but realised that holding them gave me small feel of what Xena felt. I let go. I lay, and listened in horror, helpless and alone. Thank you for a terrific podcast.

"Are we born evil?" a huge question that throws a whole universe of topics into the mixing pot of a debate that seems to have no end to it - philosophy, biology, psychology, sociology genetics, empiricism, sense experience, the list is endless, and a great deal of academics have resigned themselves to accepting that this question is almost impossible to answer, not in the least part because of the inherent subjectivity of such a question. Yet Laurence thinks he has the answer: "No". Thanks for clearing that one up Lozza...
