Cleithrophobia is a fear found after doing some research for a character and found it interesting. It is often comfused with claustrophobia, the fear of enclosed spaces, cleithropobia is the fear of being trapped. The difference betweeen the two, if both were placed in the same small space the claustropobia would panic, while the cleithrophobia would befine as long as they know there is a way out, but would panic if they were locked in that space.

Recommendation for a regional variants part: regional variants of the fossils that have been cured of their impurities, so rather than every single one being part rock, they’re their original typing. Whoa, these are cool. I like the idea of submerged, deep sea manmade machinery being so scary. I sorta wish there was a look to that family that screamed 'ghostly', with a similar vibe to Dhelmise and those pics you showed for this pokemon, like a ghostly green tint and maybe streamers of phosphorescent vapors. Emetophobia - the fear of vomit. This phobia has been a real difficult thing for me in the past few years, half my life really. Everything related to the subject induces fear; the sound, scent, seeing it, even if someone just coughs it can act up. Couldn't even talk about it in the past and when confronted with one of the above things I usually end up fleeing the place at world records speeds, while holding my breath, turning white and cold sweat all over. If I cannot flee, I end up in a fetal position full of panic, scared even to breath while I close my eyes as tight as I can and shut my ears with my hands. Luckily it got a little better but man, phobias are no joke. Maybe a cute Pokémon version can help make it a lil better. A buddy in crime, may the fear ever arouse again. It will protect and help :)

To expand on the puppet fear idea and stage fright, a two step evo with its first evo be some what like a string puppet, with its second form being a big play stage with stage light eyes and wooden puppetstriy crossed with string arms with some hypnosis motifs. It would be a pure ghost type then evolve into a psi ghost type.

I feel like the posest line should have two signature moves and a signature ability: one move leaches health from target (stronger giga drain) and the other spits out the blood/soul from its belly, activating its ability and change it to an non blood filled one. This would boost evasiveness because it’s invisible. The giga drain would also change form from empty to not. (Can’t use second move if empty obviously)

This is so cool! I love the idea of making Pokémon based on fears! As for my fears, my bathophobia (fear of depths) can't really be made into a Pokémon so I don't know about that one, but my other biggest fear is altered states, like drunkenness, highness, or inebriation in general. The thought of not being in complete control of your state of mind terrifies me, and drunk or high people make me extremely uncomfortable. I think that could result in a really cool Pokémon concept

I like the idea of a flea/leeching Pokemon. It can have an ability that increases the healing from draining moves (like the Big Root item). And a bunch of leeching moves like Giga Drain, Strength Sap, Leech Life, Leech Seed. And finally a ghost type signature move: Soul Drain. 70 power, Ghost. Restores Half the HP. If the target faints from this attack, take their soul and increase Def and Sp. Def by one stage.

you should do one based on Ophidiophobia which is the fear of snakes. sure there are a lot of snaked based Pokémon but hey. i recommend two options of inspiration, for a constrictor type the enormous anaconda it is a infamous serpent in that category. or for the venomous department maybe either the king cobra or the black mamba or even the inland taipan. and for nyctophobia which is the fear of the dark, it must be based on a nighttime animal or a nocturnal creature. though it's hard to pick one other than a bat.

I love how the Aflea line have red at the start, purple in the middle and then blue. I find this lovely as red and blue forms purple

I love Dunkraft!!! Torpisces could've been also based on an Ostracoderm! Which were ancient jawless fish that really looked like a torpedo!

Ron, first of all I would like to compliment you on your work. I have only recently been drawn to the world of "fakemon", and you are absolutely my favourite creator in regard. I can truly see you put a lot of thought and a lot of heart into your creation. That being said, I am the kind of guy who usually doesn't say anything when there's no correction to make, and speaks up when there is one. Regarding Torpisces and Dunkraft... I feel that's a miss. Don't get me wrong, the Pokémon both look great, both are fitting in their types, and they both have just the right mix of living animal and cool, unfeeling object (I've noticed a lot of other fake Steel types fail in this regard). However, I don't think they're good representatives of Submechanophobia. Taken by themselves they're amazing, but they don't really convey what that particular phobia is about. This specific "fear" is connected to the basic concept of *RUIN* and *DECAY.* Seeing something underwater isn't really unsettling. Seeing a nice, brand new, lucid, water-proof, manmade object under the water... isn't unsettling, either. What really strikes about Submechanophobia (and the pictures you found in your image search show it) is the complete destruction of what once was new and in perfect shape, the erosion by both time and the forces of nature of something that man made. It's strong because it makes us think about the passing of time, about death, and about how small we are compared to the vastity of the world. And a brand new sport car (or the underwater equivalent of one) kinda conveys the opposite of that feeling. PS: The shiny is better, since it's a bit rusty, still I believe the shape of a Pokémon with such a concept should be more ruinous. Possibly even Water / Ghost, rather than Water / Steel.

I would love to see a Pokémon based off of sea monsters who thinks people are in trouble once they enter the ocean so it tries to save them but is scaring everyone so it’s nearly exiting from hunters trying to save people, maybe it could take inspiration from the giant oarfish
