I think it's speed tier is a bit awkward though. It isnt bulky enough to continuously tank hits and too slow to outspeed much. Normally Trick Room is the answer but base 60 speed is way too fast for that. Unless you are willing to use Room Service, I doubt it would see much success. And i just noticed you probably meant an in game perspective. So jokes on me

Infinite Thunder 60 isn’t “way too fast” for a trick room mon. It’s a bit on the speedier side, but you could make it work. 60 is about the right base speed where trick room could work, although it depends on the meta you’re playing.

First: I really like this series. Second: I have a question for you Ron since you are so interested in the lore of pokemon. In the Sun and Moon anime we meet Acerola who has a Mimikyu. She claims that her Mimikyu is a ghost and that it isn't alive. It also can't attack other pokemon. But does that mean that other ghost pokemon are actually alive? Or what does a ghost pokemon make a ghost pokemon?

I know I’m not Ron but ghost Pokémon are usually the spirits of the deceased, they’re basically undead and stuck in limbo on earth. Kinda like Banette or Cofagrigus, both were born from the deceased’s grudge. When it comes to breeding though, even I’m not sure how that works

Ghost-types aren't actual ghosts. They're just ghost-adjacent. Some of them have the type because they look and act like ghosts, and others are actually reincarnations of dead people and Pokemon. The reincarnation Pokemon aren't dead anymore, but they can apparently re-die and become actual, incorporeal ghosts.

Ice Lycanroc is as amazing and adorable as regular Lycanroc. Electric Slaking is just like I imagined it would be. Looking like a total boss and terrifying to boot. Water Dragpult is great, looks like it really could be the old prehistoric version. And I think I like rock Copperajah more than the real one.

I kinda wish the Lycanroc had blue/green eyes and then some other variant in the shiny to be a bit more different from regular Lycanroc and have husky elements more represented. This is an edit (I hate when people say that, but oh well): If Sinnoh had regional variants (which it probably won't), the one line I'd like to have in it would be the Rockruff one. The cold, mountainous areas are perfect for them to be living out in the wild, in packs, and I designed Rockruff (I tried designing the Lycanrocs but it's kind of iffy) to have the husky + arctic wolf theme, the sled dog theme, etc. I had a whole Pokedex entry on how they lost their connection to humans because children snapped the icicles on their backs (replacement for the rocks in their neck fluff) that determined their rank in a pack. It's kind of stupid and long, and for the Lycanrocs I had different "it's cold so wear something" themes (Rockruff had a hood, Midday had a travel pillow (ehhh), Dusk had a scarf, and Midnight had a face mask), but I like how """"""complicated"""""" it is.

Ya I loved most of them, Slaking was fucking awesome! The lightning bolts, and the static effect on the fur plus eyes is all brilliant!!! Everything about is spot on!!!! And holy shit, I hate regular Gardevoir, like it's one of my least favorites ever, but I would go crazy for that regional variant of it! I love the design and the lore just makes it even better!!! And then there's Lycanroc... He's one of my all time favorites and I was SO excited when I saw him pop up. He's not even bad exactly??? The shape not changing is fine, I *love* the overall lore ideas! But the colours to me all turned out a bit dull?? The pure white parts are perfect as they are but I think it could be improved by adding a little bit more blue to the gray fur and either make it paler, like an Artic wolf with rich amber eyes to contrast the fur, or making the fur a darker gray-blue, with eyes that are a bit of a brighter, more saturated blue, like a husky. Arctic wolves can actually look like a pale yellow so for the shiny I would either add a tiny bit of yellow to the green eyes or make them a pale green-gray and the fur I would change from brown to a pale soft creamy yellow. For each of them I would make the ice spikes and claws much more of a crystallized looking icy blue, the gray just looks too much like dirty snow to me as opposed to ice. I just feel like if his visual changes are largely a colour change then it's important to make the colours eye catching and vibrant and these just seem a bit washed out.

Alternate backstory for gardevoir: in this region, pokemon battle to the death, but because gardevoir are so devoted to their trainer, they see the trainer's safety as unfinished business, and come back to you in this form shortly after they die. Ghost pokemon would use the same system, minus the transformation, probably having a set or rng dependent timer in either real or play time or turns.

Hey ron i watched this video and i thought of a great idea for a regional variant for absol in the pokedex it says that absol can detect disasters and because of he is mistaken for causing them. What if absol found himself in a place of people that know about his abilities and they are thankful to him maybe granting him the fairy type and that makes him want to protect people from disasters before they happen. Would really like to see a rock type Cufant. Imagine how cute and adorable it would look. Maybe make a water and dark type Lapras to represent the Loch Ness Monster and plesiosaurus a lot more How about making designs of the fossils where they were alive before being fossilized like an Ice/Dragon Tyrantrum or Grass/Flying Archeops? What about designing new Rotom forms? new appliances have been created and Rotom can now change into new forms. Well before the 4th generation Gardevoir was Male and Female. Just depended which gender your Ralts was. Even after gallade you can still choose to have a male Gardevoir if I'm not mistaken. After all Kirlia evolves into Gallade with a Dawn Stone right?

Do you know how the paras mushroom on its back when it evolves one of its dex entries say that the mushroom on its back completely controls the pokemon and the original paras is now dead and the mushroom is in complete control so i think that maybe a regional form of paras and a original evolution for paras where the mushroom for whatever reason died before the paras evolves so it turns into a new pokemon because now the mushroom in control previously is now dead making it a new pokemon also the paras can have a regional form aswell because if the mushroom dies in the paras’s early life it might turn out different just a suggestion like if you would also like to see this

I'd say for a dark/ghost type Gardevoir, it could be a "cheated on/ lack of loyalty" type of scenario... Kinda like Banette but rather than being abandoned, it would be a feeling of not having been appreciated enough? kinda like "i died protecting my trainer :D " but when her spirit hovers over to see her trainer, she sees him training a "replacement" which would hurt her so bad that she would set out for revenge.

I like how you based the Dark/Ghost type Gardevoir’s color scheme for her normal counter part off of Lunala, and the shiny color scheme was based off Shiny Darkrai. Nice touch. If that Gardevoir was ever in a Pokémon game, I’d definitely catch it and help her see that all life isn’t just evil.

ron! i have a suggestion for a pokemon video. if you have the time, why not draw your adventures with your partner pokemons? like maybe a scenery where you and avery the breloom catch a pokemon; or the many stories you’ve yet to tell with the breloom. something like that that helped you form bonds with your favorite pokémans. maybe a drawing where you and zangoose defeat noland. draw it in a more expressive scene that’s not limited to the game’s visual.

I absolutely LOVE that Gardevoir design! It looks incredibly beautiful, and yet, is also intimidating and vicious. The Pokédex entry fits with it’s description and origin really well! I would LOVE this to be an official Pokémon! (I would also love to see what it’s Mega Evolution is like!) 😉👍👍👍

Regional Forms are THE Chance to fix Pokemon and whole Evolution-Lines. Especially those many view as useless or alike. It's the best feature of the last years and a big chance to fix stuff. I hope Gamefreak is aware of this. Showing they are aware would be a move like finally give Dunance a mighty Evolution. Or Bidoof.

What moves would the Dark Gardevoir have? Personally I think it would have these moves. Dark Pulse Shadow Ball Psychic Phantom Force Darkinium Z Black Hole Eclipse Psychic is still there since it was most likely its most commonly used move when it was alive as well as it being a way to drag heavier targets into the Black Hole. Also I couldn't resist giving it the Darkinium Z. Also Level-up moves could include: Shadow Sneak lv 32 Shadow Claw lv 39 Nasty Plot lv 46 Perish Song lv 53 Hypnosis lv 60 Nightmare lv 65 Doom Desire lv 72 Destiny Bond lv 79 Eclipse Blast (Dark Type Moonblast) lv 84 For TMs I would Include: Dark Pulse Quash Snarl Foul Play Phantom Force (Gen VIII) Brutal Swing Beat Up

a badass variant could be something like a flabébé or its evolutions, but instead of a flower, it could be clinging onto a floating rock. a backstory for it could be it had to emigrate to an area with very little vegetation, and it adapted to be a cave dweller instead. for florges, you could look at something similar to the brimstone elemental from terraria's calamity edition

I personally would like a different effect on Rampage; rather than being a more polarizing Slaking, make it mobile on every turn, but make it always confused. It’s blinded by its power and is sometimes overwhelmed by it, and will hurt itself on accident during its rampages.

Due to how Indian Copperajah is I think it's probably from an Indian based region but because the British empire colonized India Galar probably took this Idia based region elephants and pokemon
