@@JonnZth That's the way I'd assume it went as well, the lore is more so referring to a "progenitor" who went on to define the evolutionary line and had offspring. Similar is probably the case for lines like the Marowak-line where clearly not every Cubones mother dies even if there are instances we can see like the one in Lavender Town. Most likely there was one that was orphaned, evolved to a Marowak solidifying the mutation of its species and having offspring that shared its features as a Cubone and thus inherited the skull-mask.

Pokèdex Entries always intrigue me, I sometimes get disappointed when some Pokèmon don't get interesting Dex Entries (ie; Paradox Pokèmon) but this video explores more towards Dex Entries and I'm all in for it

Paradox pokemon should say why they look like this. Here's some I made up from their own lore Iron valiant: this pokemon was created to fight off enemy warriors whilst also being able to heal them. It is smart enough to be able to fix other broken iron valiants Scream tail: due to not being as smart as modern day Jigglypuffs it doesn't know how to sing its lullabies. So instead it screams so loud it stuns their prey

It states that Scizor's muscles are made out of steel, making it completely metal underneath the exoskeleton. If it doesnt cool itself, the internals would melt too, leaving it with a hollow exoskeleton.

Can you think about drawing different types of candy as Pokemon on Halloween or any day in October? Examples: Ring Pop- Normal type as a bipedal Pokemon with many ring pops on each finger to shoot special type moves. And has a giant Ring Pop on its head like a helmet. Gumball machine- Fairy type as a small gumball machine that evolves into those tall gumball machines that can shoot explosive gumball-like cannonballs etc.

These were pretty cool; Sandslash and Glalie were definitely my favorites. Pineco and Tangela were interesting too, but oddly goofier than I expected. For a part two, I'd suggest Gastrodon, who was said to once have had a shell. Additionally, the two types of Gastrodon are said to exist because they have been separated; maybe long ago they all looked the same?

Oh my gosh the Bergmite is SO Cute! I'd love to see a part 2 with Mawhile. Like So many of its dex entries claim it had these steel horns. But I can't actually find art of people who have drawn it that way. I'm super curious to see how you would interpretate them. Would they still look like jaws? Or maybe like those two extra pieces that mimic bangs by the side of it's face. Maybe they would be curly like a steel corkscrew or goat like, who Knows! It lives in caves so I wonder what the adaptation of horns would like to be useful in caves.

I actually made a Regional Banette myself that's more of a jester doll. I made it Ghost/Fairy. I interpreted the head shape as like a jester hat that lost one half, the tail as being kinda torn, and the floppy arms as like oversized sleeves.

I love Banette as a Pokémon because it’s just a Youkai. There’s tons of Japanese Youkai that come into being from a mistreated object. Not even necessarily mistreated, but it’s a common thing in the folklore. None in particular are like banette being a doll to come to life through mistreatment, but the general theme is similar to others. Also the name in English is fun, Bane + Marionette
