Micah Young, Yep. 60 Sp. Atk is just pitful especially with god awful speed. No room for an offensive mon because not even shell smash can fix its speed (even at 6+, it gets outspeed by scarfers). Doesn't help for the fact that Shuckle can get up to 900 points of defense/sp. def on one of his defensive stats and 800 on the other. It also doesn't help that it's evolution's HP stat isn't increased.

The second I saw Barbaryena with the bone club, I started thinking about how they would interact with Marowak. Maybe they'd be friends, helping eachother find bones. Maybe they'd be rivals, trying to get more food and water than the other. Maybe they'd be enemies, Barbaryena wanting the bones and skulls of the Marowak for decoration and weapons.

I think Eviolite is why they haven't given older Pokemon new evolved forms since gen 4. The exception is when they've introduced a new regional form of that Pokemon (such as Galarian Farfetch'd), and only the regional form evolves (into Sirfetch'd in my example), thus Eviolite on Kantonian Farfetch'd doesn't work since that form still doesn't evolve. They want new evolved forms to shine on their own, and not be overshadowed and outclassed by their pre-evolved form holding an item that was admittedly OP in the first place and shouldn't exist.

I love these evolutions. They look amazing!! I can’t wait to see more of your poke design for Asonne region (did I spell it right). I got to catch up on the art videos but I can’t wait to see more designs, including more regional variants and evos and even desired fossil mons (as Egypt, apart of the Middle East, had so many interesting prehistoric creatures). Yup. If it's Lvl 100, it would have 788 Attack with Thick Club. Not as obsurd as Galarian Darmanitan's 936 Attack stat with Choice Band + Gorrilla Tactics, but damn. If it ain't OU, it sure as hell not dropping to UU.

the problem with giving shuckle an evolution is that is has 505 bst as is, and it's REALLY rare for normal, non-pseudolegend pokemon to end up above 545 bst....so as is Truegreen is pushing past standard protocol here.... aka, basically, for a shuckle evolution to not just be worse shuckle, it HAS to be minmaxed for offense completly since if it's defensive you run right back into the dusclops/dusknoir problem
