I had a mental break down after losing my brother that resulted me going in to hospital. When i left hospital i needed something to do to keep me busy. I decided to cut the grass at my local church as they have no funds to get the grass cut so i took it on myself. I found this song and i love it and means so much being close to my brother and other family members and family friends. Most of all visitors are so very greatful and cant thank me enough that means so much more to me and then i realised my purpose. Money cars houses isnt everything to me seeing other people appreciate what i have done and seeing and hearing there comments means the world and more. Thanks for reading. God bless you Stay strong Stay safe And remember you have a purpose in life. Dreams and ideas dont come for nothing!. 🙏😊

Mura I can feel your sorrows and we sometimes dream up what life could have been with that soulmate in ours lives. What I would suggest is for you to hold your head up high , be the best you can, and let her see the true man of who you are and what she missed out on by not having you. We never know, life could be hell with the ones we missed out on. Treat the person you end up with like a queen and enjoy life with that person.

I dedicate this song to my mother who never really was in my life that much and neither was my biological father, my grandparents raised me. My life was always what did i do. I just wanted to be loved and it seemed like nothing I did was good enough. I blamed myself for years. Children are always the ones who are hurt when they are abandoned. I finally realized they lost something great..me. I stopped blaming myself and let go and let God deal with it. This song felt like it was talking to me.

Yep it sucks that we're being lied to by our world governments. The coronavirus isn't killing that many people at all. New world order in coming, Antichrist on the rise. All our rights are being taken away and we're being forced to wear masks. Meanwhile hardly anyone's getting sick 😷. Music like this will never be made again. The music that we hear the youth listening to now is total crap. And it's meant to be, the Freemasons own the media. They're pushing nothing but sex, violence and drugs in order to dissolve society. It breaks my heart, but I know that at the end Jesus Christ returns. That is the hope that I live by. This song really touches my heart given what's going on in the world.

Love Phil Collins & Genesis and hadn’t heard this song in years when I lost my Dad unexpectedly Spring 2023. Thinking of him, I turned to one of the things Dad and I loved the most….classic rock music. “I wish it would rain down” reappeared and instantly spoke to me out of the blue. It seems this beautiful song means many things to different people but for me it makes me think of my Dad, and the lifelong bond we shared. I love and miss him every single day. This song reminds me of how love conquered a tremendous force that tried to come between us. I’m incredibly thankful for every minute we shared together, the loving talks and good times we experienced in the years before he passed. This song is for you Dad, I’ve no doubt that you loved it 💙

I love how some people can take an instrument and stamp a signature sound on it - Phil Collins does it with the drums, Eric Clapton does it with the guitar, Chet Baker did it with the trumpet, Jacqueline Du Pre with the cello. I feel like it's some sort of special talent, an almost divine communication between the player and the instrument. Ugh, not trying to intellectualise it - music is just one of the most beautiful things we have! Can't explain it, but couldn't live without it.

When I was a child, my uncle used to said all the time this was his favorite song of Collins. I didn't understand until I grown up...I liked more "Another Day in Paradise" or "Easy Lover". But now it's my favorite song of Phil Collins. It's amazing how much people can change and learn across the years. Thank you, uncle!

A remember when I was 20, Phil Colins have a concert in Belgrade, 1 mile away from my home. I admire him from my fifth, and listen all his songs, many off them I know from first do the last word. But I dont go to listen this great Man. I was sorry to give 40 euros to ticket because I was poor student than, now I have all money I need but Phil Colins does not sing any more. I am a fool brothers and sisters and you Phil - May the God Bless you for the rest of your days.

In August of 2020..2 months before the wedding. I called her up on my way to work..I was driving in to downtown Chicago..she answered the phone and told me that it was over, that she didn't owe me an explanation, and that she "hopes one day I'll be able to process this".. then *click* and In an instant her, her siblings, her parents her family her friends..all who were deeply close to me and in my heart were gone...I lost it, she was my best friend.. her family was like my family... especially her Dad and mom..she was my best friend..we were together 5 years... this was my first relationship since I got saved, .. still remember it all like i was still in the middle of it... she was married a year Later.. good song

In 2006, around 15:30, I had just returned from school and turned on radio when I heard my sister's name being mentioned in a program about missing individuals. Unfortunately she was pronounced dead. My bro and I tried to recover her body to no avail. Eighteen years laters, the pain still gnaws at me like canker and I will not rest until I find out what happened to her. Rest in peace dear sister.
