Great collection of trucks. At one point I thought you were standing on a street corner with all that traffic that that passing by!

There is a spot where all of the roads through the show grounds converge. All of the trucks coming in or leaving have to pass through this area.I have found that if I station myself at this spot at the beginning or the end of the show, I have my best opportunity to get shots of trucks on the move.

That mixer. CIYT Redi Mix is out of Waterbury Ct. I remember that still being used in the 70's They had a couple B models, think they only had 3/4 trucks. Now it says Worcester Sand & Gravel

That's interesting information, thanks. Worcester Sand and Gravel is really big into antique trucks. They even host an ATCA truck show. I suspect that if they hadn't gotten this truck, it might have wound at the scrappers.

I don't remember when they closed up. Use to be right off I-84 Reidville Rd. There are a couple Autocars sitting in a lot in Portland C. t(where I live) 1 is a ex MARINO Crane(Middletown Ct,) & the other a single axle tractor in MANCHESTER REDI-MIX colors. ( Manchester/Hartford Ct.)

I remember when I 1st started trucking back in the 70's. I would see those Worc, Sand trucks hauling on I-90 & rte 2o in that area. They were awesome looking trucks . DM 800's & B71's
