Best I ever seen. Out of this world. Fastest ball sport of all?
@scooter216311 ай бұрын
Nope, not by a long shot.... that would be jai alai, the ball is 3/4 the size of a baseball, harder than a golf ball, and can get up to 188 mph. These fast shots are going about 70 mph.
@TomasVolley11 ай бұрын
@@scooter2163 True. What about reaction time? For tabletennis, the time for the ball to travel from the opponent's racket to you must be smaller than in jai alai? A "faster" sport.
@scooter216311 ай бұрын
@@TomasVolley You make a good point.. I took the question literally - fastest ball sport, and the jai alai ball gets thown on a relatively small playing court (+/- 180' x 45') considering the speed of the pelota. I'd rather get hit by a table tennis ball at 70 mph from 12 inches than a pelota humming along at a buck eighty eight from 120 feet.

And Europe should be happy for that. You can't beat China if you don't have top competition in Europe. J-O Waldner and Jörgen had Mikael Appelgren, Grubba, Saive and Gatien which at their best could beat them. Without them, no J-O legend today.

Everyone calling this guy overrated = ??? His highest rank was 3rd in the world. You're probably eating at home right now sitting on your chair eating a taco playing casual table tennis at the local club and recently got beaten by a 10 year old so now you have to go post a hateful comment. Look down and look at that big belly of yours. Now who's overrated.

Change the title to “dominates Europe” 😅

but that's not true 😅 Didn't reach the semi final of the european championships last year and was knocked out of europe top 16 cup in qf by Pitchford this year!! He also lost 3 times to Lebruns this year who are both younger than him

@Chris.Morales Жыл бұрын
@@hezarf7n it doesn’t matter. One lucky match does not change reality. Look at Jeong Sangeun, beating MA Long in 2017, where is he now? Truls will forever be cannon fodder. There will never be another Waldner in the west.

Its not possible for any one of us spectators, not even for those of us who play TT actively, to know today How a promising player like Möregårdh will develop during the coming years. At least he is one of the more creative players in the World scene and has a great forehand. The fact that there are other promising players doesn’t diminish his potential! 💪👍🏓

I've been playing table tennis for a decade and I've moved onto other sports years ago because it just got boring to watch (I like to play the sport but also get motivated from watching). Stumbled upon this guy and he has a really nice style to watch. You need players like him in the sport or it gets stale. Even in sports like Tennis, you have the GOATs but you have those with interesting styles to watch who make the game exciting. Without these players the game gets boring. Did you know Table Tennis dropped in popularity in China BECAUSE of how dominant the national team was - adding onto the fact literally every player has a top spin attack heavy style (aka boring). Compare this to Badminton where Lin Dan dominated for years but was still an entertainer. Basically I wrote this passage to say you calling him overrated makes you overrated :) PSA: This account has notifications off - do not bother replying.
@lucashamilton15111 ай бұрын
@@Andrew.webster1 clearly you need to learn the meaning of the word “overrated” before saying anything. Who overrates me? You like his style, the way he plays makes you feel excited, sure, but that is not equal to “dominate” since he loses all the time. Since when is “entertainer” in the same category with “domination”?
