Even though the prime is underwhelming, you simply CANT disregard how good and fun the gun still is. Trumna is one of the few weapons that can hold up to lich and incarnon weapons, and I really don’t think making it broken would be good for it, because they’d nerf it. It’s perfect right where it is.

Never settle for "Just Gun," in Warframe. Trumna and Trumna Prime may at first seem like 'just gun' with a nice reload sound and some bullets with boom, but then you hit that secondary fire.

I was definitely expecting a little bit more from the Trumna Prime, don't get me wrong it's still powerful, but I was looking for more than an extra 4% Status, a 0.2x Crit Multi increase, 50 more rounds (As if 200 isn't already enough), 1 less second to reload and 3 more Impact damage. Personally, if this thing got an extra 6% Crit Chance, an increase of the base fire rate up to 5 and increasing the Crit Multi to 2.8x, alongside adding enough damage to get to 100 with most it of going to heat, I'd be more happy, but I guess I was expecting too much from an already great weapon.

TO BE FAIR, this is one of the only non-lich non incarnon that can stand up to them. The weapon was ALREADY extremely good, and can stack to end game content with a breeze.

@ honestly that’s one thing I would have wanted….. it’s best build is hunter viral heat, and status really isn’t that important to its best build. That might have honestly put it over the edge for being too good, though, especially with the buff to multiplier. Yes, I know the incarnon torid exists. It shouldn’t exist. This should be allowed to be stronger than it is.

That 1 second reload speed change doesn’t look much but it’s a god send for the trumma, she might not be even close to the level of incarnon but the fact that she can still hold her ground against them with only the prime buffs just goes to show her strength, btw love the acolyte tests, I don’t have to ask myself if it’s strong enough against them or if I should bring smth for them specifically

@Eldersh1eld Trumna isn't just on par with incarnon weapons. It outperforms most of them easily. Hell, it's basically a pseudo incarnon anyway. I've been one shot(ing) acolytes from day one, even before galvanized mods. Don't sleep on this god tier gun. Although the build in this video is terrible.

@0Rosanna I can definitely see that, though only on the primary fire. Once the alt fire comes out, I think it feels different enough to no longer be as comparable. I also think that "weaker" is a relative term here since the enemies are still dying even if one has a lower damage number. Sort of an infinity + 1 and infinity - 1 are both still infinity. Two good guns with different perks and drawbacks. But it's definitely not worth throwing away for MR fodder.

@varwhite2018 You can use a few different variations based on the frames you play (Trumna is also NOT a Gauss, Harrow, Wisp exclusive gun, and I can not stress that enough). I use it mainly on Nova, Wisp, Mirage, Nezha, pretty much any frame I enjoy playing. Galvanized Champer, Galvanized Shot, Critical Deceleration, Vital Sense, Primed Shred, Primed Cryo rounds, Malignant force. The last slot and exilus can be flex slots. I have a riven and Vigilante Supply, but things like hammer shot or Hunter Munitions (this is for softening tough enemies not killing) can work in place of my riven. You can also run blast if you want especially if you run Nourish on frames. I do not play with any armor strip or priming (outside what happened naturally in gameplay like Nova's 4). I've never had a single issue with high-level content using this build. People often make it sound like you've gotta jump through hoops to make this work at all, but I've never had a problem. Hope this helps. Ask any questions if you have more.

dispo is ALWAYS at 1 with new weapons at release and will be adjusted when they see fit. Although not gonna lie, i think DE is doing a terrible job at the dispo system. it's like they cant keep up and most of the weapons are just ignored. The fact that the strongest incarnon weapons have full dispo and tons of other regular weapons are still at 1 is beyond me. turn that around and a lot more weapons become atleast viable in base SP

DE really need to do something about single target weapons such as Kuva Karak and others. Trumna Prime and Tenet Tetra are the only good non-incarnon riven-less ARs in the game.

@ivanromashko6511 Aeolak is basically Tenet Tetra, but weaker. Gotva and AX-52 are just better variants of Kuva Karak, a single target weapon. I love Kuva Hind, but yet I understand that right now it and other ST weapons are considered bad in the current meta. Warframe now is a shooter with huge hordes. That is the reason why Torid Incarnon is the most popular weapon in the entire game.

@ivanromashko6511 Yeah, I also loved 1999 demo (felt like playing Dark Sector 2). Wish the whole game to return to it's roots. DE should just directly increase stats of many ST weapons to make them feel good even in parties. I still haven't forgotten how they screwed over Kuva Quartakk with Quatz-style firemodes and pathetic full-auto mode. I always admired how Quartakk was very versatile with ONE firemode: hip-firing to use it as a shotgun with rifle's damage falloff against tight group of enemies (very useful in the current meta), and aiming down sight to use it as a sniper rifle against bulky targets. After unintentionally recoloring Tenet Tetra into gold, I couldn't unsee it as a big door key, so yeah, Aeolak looks and sounds much better.

My mind really can't get through why they even picked trumna to be primed? Why not daikyu? I thought as entrati family is as old as they are, they was before frames, before sentient, even before void was discovered. That mean that necramechs and their weapons(trumna) where from that periond of time, high tech energy guns. Those were referred, as sentients adapted to them. If we look from different angle, if primes are this "Prime Vanguard" thing end existed alongside normal frames, then why not, they just picked old entrati gun and upgraded it to meet their standards.

Hey, I'd like to address the bane mods. Those mods ARE MORE DAMAGE. As simple as that. There is no in between. If your frame has Roar subsumed, then feel free to drop it for Serration/Hornet, because Roar is a universal damage increase that works for both abilities and weapon damage. If you don't wanna bother swapping the bane mods between factions, sure. Why not. Mind yourself though, it's less damage. Plain and simple.

@@KasSo89 Exactly this. I’m all for hating on bane mods cause mod swapping before missions can be annoying over hours of gameplay. But it is a massive dps increase and should not be ignored when trying to reach bigger numbers. The foundation of this game is bigger number = bigger dopamine hit, after all

@@KasSo89 I believe in just keeping dedicated weapons for certain factions. Most likely you want to use the elementals with bonus damage against faction as well which means more swapping. But seriously we have multiple configs for a reason. The biggest obstacle to using bane mods in my opinion is the fusion cost. Not everyone has 40k Endo to max out every bane mod. You also have to wait for them to rotate at Baro.

Not sure what you're talking about here, buddy. Even base Trumna outperforms most incarnon weapons. There are a dozen ways to increase the Crit and just use Blood for Ammo for reloading. If you just toss this god tier gun away like it's MR fodder, you're doing it and yourself a disservice. Although the build in this video is terrible.
