She had dark hair... 7th grade was pretty rough on her because in 6th and below we could wear knee socks or tights but 7th we were required to wear sheer hose (how else were the pervy church leaders going to get their mental jackoff material) No wearing pants. No listening to music. Learning about periods and more from friends. Perfect way to lose your kid forever when they become legal age is by treating them as property

As a teacher, I have experienced students getting their period for the first time at school. There was one that wasn't even told about this by her family and was therefore quite hysterical. Menstruation is a normal part of the human body and what it does. So what's next? We can't talk about what children do after the toilet (eg: washing hands and hygiene) or what they do when they have a cold and sneeze? If bleeding is to become a taboo subject, then most of First Aid would be banned.
