Hi Richard. Great video, and you do an incredible job of defending the right to hold opposing views and condemning violence of any shape or form. But I was thinking, political violence is nothing new here in the Philippines. You'll find plenty of it in Mindanao or the countryside. But nobody thinks this would lead to the destruction of Philippine democracy, whereas the polarization and the willingness to use violence for political ends is enough to get Americans scared for the future of their country. That's what annoys me. Americans are terrified of political violence, but it's as if Filipinos are more accustomed to it. I'm not saying it's right or it's justified, but if that kind of thing happened here, it would be seen as rather normal. What accounts for this dissonance in defending democracy, Richard? It's as if Americans are more committed to it than we are. Would love to know your thoughts on this. Thanks Richard and have a wonderful day.

exactly. people should weigh everything they hear and see and don't just believe what their friends say or whatever is trending. that's what happened during digong's time with all the fake news and trolls. some people are just so gullible.
