Defending your encestors A few tips learned from Auschwitz. 1. Do not hate your sinfull brother. 2. First begin about your own mistakes and then testify what hates does with the soul. 3. Ask them to think about the Gospel. 4. Always be hounest but gentle.

We don't know. But we do this. There was no religion behind the founding of America. It all started out as a result from a business venture. The Puritan came later. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Company

Great conversation. Until we can understand how religion is used and weaponized versus studied and practiced, we will continue these conversations. If we don't find a solution, people who consider themselves to be people of good virtue, will do terrible things.

This conversation is as poignant as ever and correctly addresses the oft overlooked rot of intertwined racism and religion in America. IMHO I always felt that Christianity was hoisted as a subversion tool amongst defeated people's.

A "Christians" sole responsibility concerning politics is to Pray for their country's leaders, as their bible says to do and then vote how they like. Their own bible tells them to 'render unto Caesar, that which is his and render unto God, that which belongs to God'. Their bible affirms that the Kingdom of God, in which they are to be Ambassadors, is wildly distinct from the Kingdoms of this world. The modern believer should also understand that Jesus wants them to be proper citizens of whichever country they find themselves in and to not be overly invested in the things of the world, including politics. I say to American evangelical, bible believing Christ followers to simply walk in Love towards ALL people, without exception and leave the fate of America to God. You'd think the bible's Parable of the wheat and tares would be enough instruction on how to settle this matter and live at peace in the world. sry; had to get that off my chest....I could go on :)

maybe process being a human, with compassion, and tolerance for differences in all humans, that's far more important. common sense, and rational thought is literally all you need to do the right thing, and be a good, and productive member of humanity. There are no prophets, only those that use intuition to fool you into thinking they know more than you about the obvious outcome given the fanatical beliefs indoctrinated from childhood into most of your brains. I feel like you have at least an open mind to new information, that's such a valuable asset in discovery of the truth, don't let anyone steer you from asking questions, and coming to your own conclusions, use the mind that you're equipped with, you wouldn't have it, if it wasn't important. good luck to you.

Does the beautiful message of love proclaimed by Jesus Christ still guide his followers to the path of harmony & safety? If so, why did millions of Evangelical Christians in 2016 & 2020 allow a wolf to become shepherd of the flock & to surrender the fate of American people to the mercy of the malicious?

I have less of a problem with Christianity and Nationalism than I have with WHITE Christian nationalism. I have a problem with Christians who portray Jesus as being White OR Black.Secular ism is code, dog whistle for Athesim.Socialism is a code word, dog whistle for Communism. You can read the Bible and claim Jesus was a capitalist or a socialist. Prosperity Gospel or Poverty Gospel? Then there is Judeo-Christian nationalism.

Time for religion, cult like indoctrination of children, and fairytales to take a backseat to rational thinking, and common sense. In other words, time to grow up, and focus on the future of humanity, and the ability to make peace, and personal responsibility an expectation, not a goal.
