Trump compares Jan. 6 crowd size to MLK's 'I have a dream' audience

Former President Donald Trump falsely compared his January 6 crowd to Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I have a dream" audience, saying they had the "same everything, same number of people." The comparison came in response to a question about whether he thought the conclusion of his term could be considered a peaceful transfer of power.

Debates are also not required, which is why Trump was able to avoid them in the primaries and pull out of the ABC debate until he lost 3-5% in the polls. No one else may believe in scientific polling any more, but the candidates do. It's not like the press is prevented from reporting on her. The Constitution guarantees a free press, not a news conference. What does the country gain from a news conference. In carrying out his/her duties, when will Trump or Harris be required to field hostile questions on 17 different unrelated topics? Press conferences are all part of the political theater, the never-ending "reality show" our politics have turned into, not part of governing. We're supposed to be electing a head of government.
