A former minor seminarian here. I saw my previous superiors (they would be ordained to the diaconate by now) pray in a Buddhist temple... What is the point of the Church if not to evangelize and save souls? This ecumaniacalism will confuse Catholics and lose souls that would be converted otherwise. Pray for the Church.

A Hindu form of meditation, Vipassana, was declared compulsory for Catholic priests, nuns, seminarians and novices in a town, Pune, in India. Busloads upon busloads of Catholic priests, nuns, novices and seminarians attend this form of Hindu meditation at the Goenka Centre for Vipassana Meditation. Encouraged, supported and also made compulsory by the Hierarchy in local dioceses and upheld by the Superiors of local Seminaries and Novitiates. This has been going on for decades and decades.

In what is father Giorgio Ferre’ is wrong? That is the problem with all of us that have allowed Pope Bergoglio to cause all short of scandals, but are not enough scandalous for many to say “ I don’t agree with Father Ferré’, but he is partially right” we are the relativists and deserve this Pope that us the incarnation of double talk, ambiguity and falsehoods. Technically speaking, a person 'can' receive a sacrament while being in a state of mortal sin. But if they know it's wrong and do it anyway, (knowledge and consent) that would mean committing the great mortal sin of sacrilege against the Lord Jesus. One should never desire to offend the Lord and also put one's soul in jeopardy.

Thank you for this important question. Catechisms distinguish "Sacraments of the Dead" (namely, Baptism and Penance) from Sacraments of the Living" (which include the remaining five Sacraments). It would be a terrible sacrilege for a person in the state of mortal sin to approach a Sacrament of the Living. God bless you.
