Deregulation should start with the electric light bulb. These LED bulbs cost 10 times more than the incandescent bulbs. No, they do not last for years. They lose light output a few weeks after they are screwed in and actually change the color of the light. Why can't consumers choose what kind of light bulb they want to buy? This is ridiculous! Put the decision of what retail products consumers wish to buy back in their hands. By regulating things like this, the manufacturers have no incentive to produce better, more competitive products. It's stupid! The EPA made a bad decision to mandate what kind of light bulb manufacturers could make and retailers can sell. So, We the Consumers are given no choice but to buy an inferior product for a lot more money! That is not how to get Americans to purchase more efficient products. They will do that naturally when they find them. Deregulation is the key to solving issues like using less power. Get a brain, EPA!

Admittedly I don’t understand your math. When an item cost 1.00 in 2020, and 4 years later, it costs 1.90, I consider that to be a 90% price increase in 4 years; NOT 20%; (22.5%/yr.). Overall, everything of importance costs twice as much while wages are still the same or barely more than they were. Medicine finished I don't have any money just got a credit card with small amount to pay for food we need social to stop taxing on people that they earn less then $50.000 dollars
