Trump Election Case Hits Courtroom As Judge Weighs Immunity Ruling

A federal judge will hear key arguments in the federal case against former President Donald Trump, which accuses him of attempting to overturn the 2020 election results. U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan is overseeing the case. Trump's lawyers plan to argue for dismissal, pointing to a recent Florida ruling that questioned the appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith, who brought the charges.
