Our lives do depend on voting. I'm tired of having a tyrannical dictator in the white house.

@the truth You want to vote for a man who doesn't give a damn about you? He wants to cut social security, has no respect for women. You supporters are have contributed to the damage that man has done to America and to almost a quarter of a million COVID-19 deaths. You're blind.

Such a Beautiful, Shining Spirit... There is no lament for The Fallen Warrior. Only a desire to be as Wise and Bold of Spirit. There is no sadness in the death of a Warrior. Only a desire to burn as brightly. Resolute. Determined. Courageous. Love Her!

Rest in Peace to a true, honorable, and well-respected Supreme Court Justice. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, we're all so thankful of how you lived your life and what you devoted yourself to, for this country. In your honor, we will do better and hope for big change to come across, as well as making "good trouble" for the late John Lewis. God bless you, RBG and you too, Lewis.

Thank you RBG for everything you have done for women’s rights. I will miss you. We have a prayer at church that ends with “grandfather is watching you”. Now I think of RBG as the prayer at church “your grandmother is watching you”. ❤️

A lovely tribute. I have written one also: Elegy for RBG An hour after you died, your face was already an icon with your trademark jabots surrounding your head like haloes: the dissenting collar, warning us when we were sliding into a Banana Republic; or the sunny yellow, crocheted by your clerks, for announcing majority opinions; or the spiky feathers for the portrait with Kavanaugh, when they called you a warrior princess. But your favorite, and mine, was the white collar from Cape Town. You wore it for Obama’s State of the Union addresses, rejoicing to think we were leaving apartheid behind. Now Etsy calls it Victorian lace and pearls. It was only a simple white crochet, but in memory I see a constellation for us to navigate in the dark. A spray of stars enough for every little girl to choose her own to wish on.

He swears an oath to the Constitution .. and then follows through. It's the law. How is it that we Love the Law... when RBG upholds it... but when others uphold it.. not so good.

Margie Maybe he’s not actually picking anyone. He doesn’t have the mental wherewithal to know which judge to elevate to the highest Court in the nation. Of that you can be 100% assured. His staff does the research and his party does the selecting via back channel recommendations. Then he nominates their pick. That is how it’s done. That’s how we’ve wound up with more than a few justices who had no businesses being on the Court but were only confirmed due to the party who originally selected them holding the senate majority (on both sides of the aisle, going back to Justice Thomas). It just feels more egregious now because the figurehead who appears to be making the selection is a terrifyingly unhinged maniac. I say that as a career military member with multiple combat deployments under my belt, as a lawyer and now judge and as cancer survivor, a mom of 4 and as a woman. Everything he touches becomes that much more tainted, even when the process is the same as always and that effect is far beyond disturbing.

Dominus Vobiscum For helping to let women do things without a man's legal approval or accompaniment
American Liberty She never wanted to lower the age of consent, but the senate did, so figure that one out. Legalizing prostitution would make it regulated and safer for all involved, and I'm honestly failing to see where the problem is.
