I was an American living in China in 2020. It was VERY serious in January for us. And I’d watch the US news and Trump would talk about it in January as if he had everything under control. Flights started to get canceled and my parents were calling me EVERYDAY, telling me to come home. I left China on February 3rd because the Consulate told us it was best for us to go back home. On arrival, I was not tested for covid; they didn’t even test my temperature. I was SHOCKED and afraid that I might be infected so I decided to quarantine myself for 2 weeks before I went to my family. While I watched the US news from China, Trump talked a big game. But when I arrived home, I saw absolutely ZERO action. This absolutely could’ve been handled differently; but I’m not surprised Trump acted in a selfish and immature way.

That is because despite spending all of his first three years boasting about the healthy economy he inherited as if he was the reason for it, he put the health of the economy and his re-election chances ahead of the health of the people. If like Trump, he put all of his eggs in one basket and that was the only good thing he had to talk up, he would not want to do anything and take measures that might be to the good overall but to the detriment to that one good thing, as that was all he had. The real cause for concern are the cult members who I've sort of put into three categories. One~ which is a separate discussion for another day~are his stooges and henchpersons in the US government. But it's one of the rank-and-file demographics that are the greatest concern. I'm speaking of the ones who do not understand Trump's ultimate goal and bottom-line~he wants a presidocracy~in short, he wants what Putin has, but may not even bother with the sham elections. No the cultists I worry about are the, speaking frankly, low intelligence, gullible and barely educated. They don't understand everything he says but they could care less because SOMEHOW~ and none of us can even begin to comprehend it~ they feel like he is just their guy, the man for the job and that he really and truly will do right by America and them. They don't see that he is only trying to destroy it to make himself King. It will be okay with them if he starts arresting black people in every major city, but when they start arresting people who didn't vote or didn't vote for him like all the people in Georgia we know about (because Brad Raffensperger told us) left the 2020 presidential spot blank and just voted down ballot for the other Republicans..... Yeah l believe that maniac would have people trying to find out who didn't vote or didn't vote for him on the roles of registered Reps. tHe is bent on revenge as part of the destruction and the chaos and he will do to any of those people what he and Giuliani did to Ruby Freeman and her daughter. I mean it's basically moot because he will never win but in the meantime I/we have to do everything in our power to avoid the media coverage because it is so toxic. I'm not going to let it in. Just going to stay around the perimeters where the air is better and concentrate on anything I can do to ensure the resolute upholding of our rights, our freedoms within this, our perfect/imperfect democracy. President Trump did. Did I mention record unemployment for all of the minorities in this country? He stopped N Korea testing nuclear weapon and made them to meet with S Korea for the first time in history of both Koreas ( absolutely remarkable achievement in foreign policies) He did every campaign promise in spite of being harassed , openly sabotaged and chased by all of the Media, Big Tech, hostile Congress and everybody else who wasn't lazy on the daily bases with one purpose only to bring him down.
