Yes Iowa has a lot of racist people that live here but not all of us are that way. If you came to downtown Des Moines you would be surprised by the open minded community especially in the east village. We get a bad rap for being such a small state and we have a thriving Hispanic Sudanese middle easterners in our little state. We might have more taco trucks per capita than most states. Believe me karma is coming to the farmers who voted republican because our farming industry is going to take a huge hit by china doing the big deals with Argentina and Brazil.
