Wrong Sir, I worked for Newport Marine Supply store when I was in high school, and delivered parts to his ship and crew. I once tried to sell him some blue “Top Sider” deck shoes, the type everyone wore in my high school. John Wayne, himself explained that his boots were made for him in the film “Hitari” that they they were his favorite, but he was waring then out too fast, and he would like somethings to wear, so he wouldn’t wear his favorite boots so much. But the shoes I had on stock were way too small, and he didn’t want to special order them . One of my favorite memories of Mr John Wayne.

@@aiyhamghey it’s sad that I have to answer that. Honestly it is kinda embarrassing to be associated with a country who does not believe that racial superiorty is an actual thing. A country who believes that blue lives matter is a real thing. A country that loves to judge a ethnic group or culture based on the mistakes made by a few individuals. A country that believes that a man should have the authority to decide what a women does with her body. If you would like to I can continue?

@@alexislop779 Because 'racial superiority' is not something that exists in modern day America, and to imply otherwise is nothing short of gaslighting people into believing that they have less of a chance because of their race. The barriers that exist in any capitalist economy are socioeconomic ones, as well as many other variables, and the reality of this is that they simply do not pertain to race. If you are implying that minorities don't have access to the same quality education, you must also remember that this is because living in disadvantaged communities comes with the fact that most of these communities were, in many cases throughout history, led to being disadvantaged due to historical instances of redlining, segregation and steering investment away and failing to incentivize any outside investment by echoing that gentrification is the intrusion by elites into disadvantaged communities in an attempt to steer them away. The answer is that it simply isn't. It is the very essence of what is needed to support these communities, and in reference to the taxes that communities rely on to fund public education, services, infrastructure, affordable housing... and that is income taxes and property taxes. This is why it is important to have communities that are diverse in incomes, because it brings about the investment that is needed to improve these communities. This administration has made bringing investment into these areas a priority through the development of thousands of 'Opportunity Zones' that states determined as their most disadvantaged areas and this had introduced tax incentives for real estate developers and other financial investors to pour capital into communities that needed jobs and the property tax revenue. I'd encourage you to read up on this policy before coming to a conclusion. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-establishing-white-house-opportunity-revitalization-council/

@@alexislop779 Additionally, the administration pushed through 'School Choice' and enabled students from districts with poor education options to be able to choose where they go to school instead of being forced into local ones based on zip-code. Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA) had long evidenced the benefits of enabling states to have more discretion in regards to funding their schools and proportionally towards those schools that have more students that quality for free meals, which are specifically low-income families, as well as those that need assistance learning English and those that are in foster care. This policy was called the Local Control Funding Formula. This same policy was what inspired 'School Choice' in this administration, and which has been pushed forward in pursuit of reducing the role the federal government plays in education, and also by enabling children to attend schools that they are forced into simply by where they live, which often is a reflection of their parent's income level. Diversity is important, is it not? At the same time, you are speaking as though you support a candidate, such as Biden, that played an enormous role in attempting to stop the integration of schools through his opposition to busing. This isn't a lie, and even his now running-mate was using this against him in the DNC in 2016. I think it is important to understand that there are many factors that influence child development, and it is almost fact that parenting is a large identifier of whether or not someone will be successful in life. Absentee fathers create negative outcomes, but so does a system that cannot protect nor support a growing population of foster youths. This administration has made it one of the highest priorities to ensure that this is something that changes, because it isn't uncommon for many of these situations to lead to poor outcomes based on those that foster children for monetary gain. Trump pushed through the 'Family First Prevention Services Act' which prioritizes having these children housed with parents, or close relatives. It brought funding for parent education tools, mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment for parents that were substance abuse victims. It created a funding cap for 'group homes' that take in large numbers of children, because these are often the most susceptible to overpopulation and abuse to the children that need affection and a loving home. It restricted funding for children in group homes to a timeframe of two-weeks, because that setting should not be one that is long-term. These children either need to be with their parents, or within a proper setting that can lead to the best outcomes for them. I'd encourage you to take a few minutes to read the policy in particular; www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-strengthening-child-welfare-system-americas-children/

@@alexislop779 Law enforcement is not the enemy of the minority. The enemy of the minority is those that want to 'use' them as a political tool. The candidate that wants to tell African-Americans that they are not 'black' if they don't vote for him. Can you take a moment and digest that comment? There is a pretty clear line being drawn in politics today in America, and it's one that has two different views. On one side, you have those that want to use their race, gender, sexual orientation as an 'excuse' that should offer them an advantage in life and on the other hand you have a party that pushes the idea that we are all made equal and that policy should not prioritize the acceleration of any one group but rather all of them. You mention that this country loves to judge people based on their ethnic group, or culture, yet fail to realize that your distinction fails to recognize the equal persecution of those that have a right and freedom to exercise religion. If you want to make the assertion that Muslims are looked at differently because of the radicalization that some have shown through violence then you must not look past that many Christians/Catholics are looked at the same way in modern times with the idea that their beliefs should not be supported in this day and age because of the actions of a few. For somebody that is attempting to make the argument that judgement is an issue in America, you sure have no issue in your own complacency in this through making the assertion that the value of someone's life is less worthy because of their job. That #BlueLivesMatter is not something that can be valued, because African-Americans are being killed? Can you not reflect on the same principle that law enforcement have been killed, simply for their authoritative role, since their establishment? Is the negative outcomes of enforcing laws and the susceptibility of being injured/killed an unavoidable consequence of simply choosing that job? Make no mistake, there are 'outliers' in any field and there is no argument made that this has not included law enforcement. At the same time, if you make your argument that we need not judge the majority based on the actions of the few, then you must come to understand that this also applies to law enforcement. Calls for the imprisonment of individuals based on their actions, whether right or wrong, is not the society we live in. We are all given the right to due-process, and as such these things take time to investigate in length. Justice is not something that can be established by those unfamiliar with the details, as justice is applied by the law and nothing else. Emotion does not dictate the protections that we all have, and it should be evidenced enough by the existence of freedoms and rights that we have even when presumably guilty. George Floyd was not an indication of 'systemic racism' but rather an instance of poor training accompanied by a failure to comply with law enforcement. Does that make it right? Absolutely not. Last time I checked, the existence of 'lynching' and hate attacks are almost non-existent, while this cannot be said for treatment of law enforcement in terms of civil disobedience and those that wish to cause harm 'willingly' to someone based on their uniform. That is not excusable, nor justified. When you attack someone based on their perception, whether it is their race, gender or job, it's a hate attack and nothing short of that. The idea that minorities are against law enforcement, as a whole, is simply laughable. The reality is far from that, and I think we will see a reflection of this in terms of voter outreach in the 2020 election. Most people don't support the destruction of communities by outsiders that come to simply be a part of this anarchy. We aren't talking about the 'Black Lives Matter' protests, we're talking about rioters that are anti-establishment and have been since the inauguration of Donald Trump in 2016. We're talking about the people that were so fond of being against judgement, but so quick to judge others based on a hat they wore. This same judgement has extended and encroached into something that our country holds close, which happens to be freedom of religion. To judge someone on this is simply against what this very country was founded on, and it holds as much grounds as the right to exercise free speech. It has led many, such as yourself, to come to the opinion that because some of religious faith are 'against' abortion- it somehow implies that all people of faith are out to abolish it. It's a fallacy that only shows your hypocritical stance in your participation in being a person of judgement. Are there some that use religion as an excuse to hate? Absolutely. These people exist in all walks of life, but if you truly want a country that unites it does not start with creating division through fear-mongering and race-baiting. We can sit here and come up with different perspectives on what approaches are 'best' for achieving societal/economic goals, and that is the very thing that we should hold as something fundamental. However, that being said, I think the essence of growth needed in this country is one that moves away from the dangerous trend that has shown violence being used in return to difference of opinions. If you assault someone because they wear a MAGA hat, you are worse than a white supremacist in every way and should face the same repercussions that they do. For those that say that Trump hasn't condemned these groups, they should be directed to the fact that he did: www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-40929627 For those that don't condemn bad actors on their side, such as antifa agitators, then they simply to continue to be a part of a much larger issue at hand.
