True, but I believe it was officially changed recently. However, I think the Pilot's Union started that and it was based on research that indicated removing potentially offensive terms had an upside with no downside. The FAA agreed. It was a non-issue really. And DEI actually added a larger pool to draw from, so BETTER people on average ended up in these jobs. The Trump Admin completely misrepresents the FAA DEI practices.
