It’s actually disturbingly frequent that this happens. I do peer support with survivors of sexual trauma, and it’s really quite sad how many survivors were first assaulted, and then their rapist manipulated them into believing that he would protect them. I know a few women who married their rapist and it took them years to get out of the abusive marriage.

They can avoid consenting to "pointless" sex, but when it's forced upon them, what then? Then there is the majority of why women get abortions outside of rape/incest: complications with the pregnancy. If the fetus ends up not being viable, or it's an ectopic pregnancy, there's a _huge_ chance that the mother's life would be at great perilous risk. At best, she becomes unable to get pregnant again. At worst, she dies. It would be best if you re-evaluated your education on the matter because clearly, you don't know what you're talking about.
