I’m a Trump Supporter, but I wouldn’t want a Trump guitar unless it’s an investment. I wish he would have done this through a domestic, innovative company with a significant heritage. If this was done through Gibson, Fender or Gretsch (among others), it might have been a decent idea just to have a commemorative, limited run edition. Having a “Trump” branded guitar is not something I’d be interested in personally, no. If I can buy low and sell high, that’s a different story. I just can’t see one in my collection.

Bought a Mexican made Charvel back 2 years ago. It was shit. Frets were just trash. Had hangover. Too much relief in the neck. Got an Indonesian Ibanez, and it had excellent frets and needed no setup. They are killing us in quality. If you have to spend money on setups and fretwork for a $1200 guitar, it's a problem.

The bolt on design has zero effect on tone and allowed for options like shimming and swapping. That being said, a big appeal of these guitars is the neck, so there’s that. Never pay more than $800 for a guitar unless you just want the novelty of the name brand and bragging rights.
