Federal employees who run payroll and other things were cut and right now the treasury department claims every payment out there is “fraud” so the severance is not promised … With that said if I had to be forced out I’d be asking for my severance up front. I literally have NEVER heard of a severance that pays you for months after you leave. I have only ever heard of severance that pays you in a lump sum and providing insurance (generally at the rates you were paying) for up to a year after should you want it … This buyout is not promised. Add to that. Unemployment is going to be dismantled to and is also not promised. Again I say leave with pay in hand or find yourself in peril
