And if that is the case, why would anyone knowingly follow or support any such person or the organization that relies on deception? If you ask people if they trust politicians ALL WILL SAY NO!!! Then you ask, who are you voting for, and almost ALL will name a candidate. What does that tell us about the intelligence of the voters? If someone is a crook, why even vote? I just dont get it. The only logical action is to not participate.

Its so that no one, esp the voters, has to take responsibility for all the stiupid and/or evil things their "elected representatives" do. Consider, the votrs get to vote to enact violence against their neighbors and political rivals but they don't have to take responsibility because they get the cop out of things like "well, my representative lied to me, I had no idea he would do that! Need time it will be right." And the politicans also are not held responsible and even if they are the worse that happens is they don't get to sit on the throne in a few years. So no one has to take responsibility for government. It's a tidy little arrangement if you ask me.

I think it IS generally known that politicans lie as part of the job, they just don't care. Not really. Why? Because it gives the voters an excuse not to have to take responsibility for anything their "representatives" do. "I didn't know they were doing that! They lied to me. The next time I vote it will be better." So the voters don't have to take responsibility for the evil they vote for as they give the government power. I'm not sure how to read minds. But, yes, I disagree with those actions. There's a lot of reasons to dislike Trump and that was one of them. Why do I support him? Because we need a strong man right now and he is the one that has risen in power and pretty much the only option I have for a decent strong man. Would I prefer a Ron Paul or Thomas Massie, etc? If he claims prices would be lower had he been president for the last four years, then that's plausible, but if he said prices would be the same as 2019 or that he can get them back down there, then that's just lies.
