But when Brexit happened, and the "migrants" (aka people from EU countries) went back, suddenly the country threatened to halt. Especially the lack of truck drivers, retail workers, farm hands, etc. was felt. So where were all those British people who couldn't get jobs because of all the darn migrants? Completely disinterested in high stress low pay jobs, and completely unqualified for jobs like IT and nursing they had had to import workers for previously. It'd be the same in the US.
