When a lawyer is on the stand and being questioned, it seems likely that they would be considering the questions and their answers because they want to understand what point they are trying to make. That doesn't make him 'shifty' - it makes him cautious. Cohen is fully aware of how lawyers use questions to attempt to paint pictures and distort truth. 🤔

what strikes me is that the defense instructed the jury in the beginning that they can not judge a person (their client) by how their feelings for that person are. Here is the deal. Blanche is a former PROSECUTOR. Prosecutors are experienced in direct examination. Defense attorneys are experienced in cross examination. That is just the nature of criminal law. Blanche’s cross examination today was feeble at best. I doubt if it will improve much tomorrow. We will see.
