It is not ridiculous, everybody that was going to vote for Biden, will vote for Biden or another Democratic candidate. What we're trying to do is convince some people that haven't somehow made their minds up as to whether they should vote for Biden over Agent Orange. We need to focus on the people that don't have any opinion at all and/or don't have a negative opinion of Orange or Biden. Maybe they have a negative opinion of both, either way, they are the ones. This debate is a problem not just from a question of is he truly fit for office right now or not or even the next term, it's optics. I don't know how someone can be neutral but they exist and will choose the winner. if I was somehow neutral, and I saw clips from this debate, or a highlight reel from both candidates, in some way's Biden comes off the worse, because like it or not, Trump comes off way more energetic and "confident" in his lies than Biden comes off, regardless of his record or if he's telling the truth. Trying to sell to people that Biden's the right candidate by saying the people around him are great sounds good and all but in the real world I don't know that the people that we really need to change the minds of or help make a decision are going to be affected by that kind of logic. They're probably just going to go by optics. Most likely they think neither candidate will affect their life very much. I hear this all the time when I try to talk to people about politics. So whether they're right or wrong you have to convince them and I'm not sure Biden is the right person in my opinion. I feel like we need a charismatic candidate, that can stand there and clearly, concisely and confidently articulate their message. I will vote for him I'll tell anybody too vote for him. But I'm very concerned about the people that we need to convince, not the ones who have already made up their minds. I was literally gaming in my head all the positives that would come from a change of candidate b/c right now, all I see is a sinking ship with her captain going down with her. I just watched the Monday 7/8/24 White House press conference. The press is not very in tune with what the President is doing and where he has been since the debate. They are soooooo hung up on it.
