That's what neighbours do. Our hearts go out to you. We know about wildfires, and we understand what you're going through. It's so sad that people have died. He already needs to be impeached. I lived through Santa Ana winds in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. I watched the population grow, get denser, the region get dryer due to lack of rain fall. Fires during these wind storms have grown worse. I was on the edge of 1500 homes being destroyed, another time the loss of 52 homes. A friend of my lost his home twice due to the winds. My heart goes out to the people of LA. I applaud the fire fighters. I'm embarrassed for anybody who falls in line behind Trump. Trump's behavior is criminal.

When my town burned down, 45 was President and he didn’t want to cooperate with our governor and it took a long time to get help when thousands were all the sudden homeless. He was horrible to us. It's distressing. My PTSD has kicked in. We went through a big wildfire in our county back in 2015. It came within a mile of our house, we were evacuated. My husband and I spent the year helping our neighbors who had great losses. These events bring both the good and bad out of people. But I did find that my neighbors would move heaven and earth to make sure someone is safe. Wrapping written hug to you.
