Jennifer Coffindaffer, NewsNation law and justice contributor and former FBI special agent, tells "NewsNation Now" she was perplexed by the lack of security outside of the Saturday Trump rally's perimeter. Few of the females? They all looked confused, and the men didn't know how to handle things after he got up, until the female S.S officer ended up running towards Trump, covered him with her body while the men were standing at his side allowing him to be exposed to the crowd. As a guy I get embarrassed when I see other men feel so threatened by women. Wonder why women don't respect men anymore? Which adult would be fine to see grown men who can't step up to the plate try to pull the good old blame game like children...smh.

The Head of the Secret Service is a DEI hire. I read that she came from Pepsi. And how do you put someone 5’6” on bodyguard detail for someone Trump’s size. They should all be 6’6”. It’s no different than the line blocking for a QB. Duh.

Part of the job is to be a human shield. Trump is 6-foot-3 and overweight. Do you think the female agents present were able to optimally fulfill this part of the role? If not, it’s a risk acceptance because DEI is considered a supreme value

Gaffe she says. Even a rookie providing security would know to have the tops of the surrounding buildings covered. The Secret Service supposedly has some of the best security training in the world. They missed not covering the roofs of nearby buildings? The police knew the man was on the roof with a rifle. He was pointed out by people attending the event. A policeman climbed up, but backed off when the shooter turned the rifle toward him. How long did it take for the policeman to climb up there? Was there no radio communication between the police and the Secret Service? The police should have notified the SS the second they learned of the shooter. If the SS were notified, why did they leave Trump on stage instead of removing him to safety. There is video of an SS agent clearing people out behind the stage just before the shooting. Why? When shots were fired he knelt down. Is that standard procedure for the SS when shots are fired? One female SS agent had trouble holstering her gun. If she were experienced, holstering her gun would be second nature. Were these agents that incompetent or is there something else going on?
