After 4 years of Biden and Harris, it can only get better because it can't get worse short of a depression.

No! Blanket tariffs are arbitrary and capricious. A tariff should only apply to a direct commodity. Back in the 1990s, a tariff was placed on lumber imported from Canada. I don't remember the exact details. But, being in the lumber business before and after, I can tell you that placing 25% tariff on items that the U.S. has to import, just drives prices up. Western Red Cedar primarily is a product sourced from Canada. That tariff will do nothing but increase the price of construction in the U.S. Think it through. Cause and effect.

@PeachWood-j8j without them food (farm & restaurant) & construction prices will skyrocket, either due to a lower supply (not enough staff to do the job) or higher labor costs, both greatly impacting the overall economy. Not that I like it, but America has allowed illegal workers to be employed at subpar wages for so long the economy is reliant on them.

That is not how knowledge works. A person having knowledge others do not, does not gain support from those people. This is why so many politicians never actually answer a question, they want the support of stupid people who know little.

@@Jerry-rg8mx 14 years as a Senator. Growing up in a home with a politician which would have given him an interest in politics and how a government is run. Anyone that thinks Tariffs have broad implications on an economy is either 100% clueless of how economies work (all nations have them including us and we have one of the lowest on the planet while China has high tariffs and is booming) Or, they are lying out their asses.
