Trump doesn't know what cards his opponent has genius... It was because his only demons are voidlord and doomgaurd and either one would be enough to deal with the board. Also he heals himself for 8 with that play so it's the safer play

It was not the safer play. If it pulled Doomguard it would have left Patches up, allowing the Rogue to Bonemare him. And he did "know" what his opponent had. He was trying to play around a turn 7 Bonemare which she just happened to not have. He literally said one thing and then did another.

You really only need the weapon and guldan. Instead of Umbra you can run faceless manipulators and zealot for thalnos. You can cut rin and oakheart completely they are really greedy for this deck anyways

I agree regarding Rin, Oakheart and thalnos, but I think Umbra is pretty key to the deck. Faceless manipulator doesn't get the cube's deathrattle to trigger instantly, so it cuts your OTK burst from 25 down to 15. You CAN run the deck with a faceless or 2 as a budget umbra replacement, but it comes at a much steeper cost than the other legendaries (especially oakheart and rin who may end up being too greedy to be worth it anyways).

2nd this! Oakheart and thalnos make your good match ups (vs aggro) better but the bad ones (control/combo) worse. Umbra does make your worse match ups better though. Not sure about Rin, it seems like a choice of taste imo. The legendary i dont see here which rekt me is Prince#3 to copy the cube or the charger for a better guldan.

Ooze doesn't solve the lackey, and if you're playing control you lose to azari. The only chance you have is to ooze the weapon, silence Rin AND Lackey, and then hope and pray they don't draw Oakheart and win with Gul'Dan. Aggro decks Can't beat all the healing and removals. Maybe you can mill their stuff with kingsbane mill rogue but there are just so many things this deck can win with, even if it doesn't get off the combo

But Ooze does solve the lackey problem. Lackey is silencable, and if they plan to Dark Pact the Lackey, they can't OTK you with this variant because it only runs ONE Dark Pact. There's no other 1 mana way to kill your own Carnivorous Cube on the turn you play it.

How do you get around the difficulty of having the warlock weapon pulling a demon each turn, then on the turn you finish getting azari, you can't play him, but he is your only demon? Every time I've tried this, he's been pulled by the weapon and the effect hasn't gone off.

the rin is pretty bad in my experience. i played vs alot of these kind of decks with my control mage and everytime they finished the seals, their weapon pulled the 10 mana deck destroyer demon. Giving me enough time to try to win the game.

I like highlander lock with krul and kazakus instead of oakheart I run stonehill which can either discover rin for control match ups either voidlord or even small taunts for aggro match ups I also run jaraxxus cuz hes just an awesome legendary as a hero or as a 3/15

I have to spend my entire reserve of dust - 5600, in order to play this deck. I already own the weapon, Gul'Dan, Thalnos, one Cube, ne Voidlord and Twisting Nether and STILL not close enough. Feelsbadman. I know Master Oakheart is a Trump addition but still an expensive deck. I have been playing Hearthstone for more than 2 years and the game has become really expensive.

Thalnos and burning that cube were the worst parts, but otherwise the plays seemed good. I'd honestly do away with the Thalnos, I know he's draw and spell damage, but I think he throws off the big play a bit too much. Would you consider Vulgar Homunculous over Mistress of Mixtures?

I know I'll get a lot of heat for saying this, but I hate these decks more than Razakus. Control decks that have insane burst, guaranteed endgame win and tons of removal are...bad. Against Razakus, you could at least either play rat, hope they get bad draws or out-race. I kind of miss the times when games were actually decided by fighting for board...

Funny, I dont think I've lost to this deck yet when playing as a standard controllock xD Same as netdecking always is, you can copy the deck, but unless you came up with it yourself, your plays will be sub-par.

I made this deck without Rin at first, because I didn't have it. So I threw Leeroy in there instead. Now that I've got Rin, I'm not certain I wanna make the switch. Leeroy has come in as an extra Doomguard (sort of) in a few occasions, and while it's gotten me out of jams mostly that I screwed up to get myself into, it has been effective.

Here's the cheaper version: List is the same, except swap the Tar Creepers for another copy of Pact and Coil, swap Rin for a Siphon Soul and swap Oakheart for another Twisting Nether.

6 legendaries and 3 epics. I dont even have 6 legendaries in my collection. Why I dont Hearthstone anymore. The Power Creep and Whippings you have to take to one day, some year, be able to play for fun. Too many beta players around who have all the cards and can just back all that free gold and dust each season and buy (for free) all the best cards next release and do it all again. Should be a a beta only game room or matches based on card base.

I'm wanting to run this deck but I don't have the funds right now to buy packs, dust cards, and get the cards I need. At least I've got bloodreaver guldan and most of these cards. I just need oakheart, cube and Rin but those are some big cost cards. At least I have faceless manipulator to copy Rin if I'm playing against another warlock and skull of the manari is amazing. Not once has it ever been countered for me

Dragon Dude Collecting cube is the only necessary card, oakheart and rin is just an experimental inclusions right now. I suggest looking over different deck lists to see what they run instead of these legendaries, personally i run oozes for a mirror match and plus i run into a lot of tempo mages.
