He won't have people to tell him "no." people have forgotten how corrupt you can think of his whole presidency was. we were constantly getting updates about him having done this secret deal or that unbeknownst to Americans, secretly dealing with this dictator or this authoritarian off the record. these are things that plagued his first term. Let's not forget him governing via Twitter. Perhaps the American people need to get a good dose of what having a dictator in power is really like. His supporters don't realize that a Dictator's only purpose is to stay in power, so all those that help them get in the power will be equally as hurt by his policies and actions as those that didn't.

I am 70 years old and have known many LGBQT individuals. What people don't understand, they fear. Over the years the LGBQT community has fought for rights and have obtained them. Older individuals have stated to me that they are not in agreement with the things that are happening today within the community, i.e., dragqueens reading to children in classrooms or libraries, inappropriate books in school libraries, etc. They know this is not right and they fear the setback effect. Healing happened, but wounds can be reopened because force is applied. Respecting ones self and living in peace, loving in peace, gets more peace. Too much is being placed on display and too much is being aimed at our children. Please don't wear your shoes backwards. Just be the best you. But understand that if you push hard, society will push back. I wish more young people in the LGBQT community would understand this. The older ones fought hard and gained ground, the young ones seemed determined to lose it.

I think you are blaming the wrong side for any setback. The people on the right that I know, mostly don't care if you are trans. I have family in the deep south, they don't care. They don't understand it, they might call you weird, but they aren't going to do anything to you. The best/worst they will do is pray for you. The problems are around exposing children to this and men in women's sports. Also, calling people transphobic if they don't want to date a trans person. Who is pushing this? The left. Have YOU the reader actually gone to both presidential candidates online official government platforms and read ALL the policies by both parties?? What about the platforms of people running for various positions in congress? Which policies do you specifically like? How will they benefit you? How will they benefit the nation now and over time? How will they hurt you? How will they hurt fellow citizens now and over time? Will they affect taxes? Whose taxes? Etc etc etc Have you read the entire constitution? Have you researched each amendment, what they mean, and how they are applied in government? Could you pass a basic civics test? You can watch live hearings in congress in full so you don’t have to see clips from bias hosts from either side. You can watch all interviews/debates in full on their original platforms instead of skewed clips on different or a-posing platforms. You can get access to many documents that are public on various laws, lawsuits, about or around the constitution as well as actions taken by congress and by whom. There are ways to cross check a lot of things you hear on social media & “news” outlets. Don’t take anyone’s word. Don’t be narrow minded and ignorant. Do your own research.
